They reduced the hours since covid. They never brought it back up. Now they have a 50% increase in membership fee. How can you charge more after giving us less. I understand if they need to make more money, but charge that to new customers. Don't do that to loyal customers who have stuck with you for all these years. Enough is enough. I hate to cancel my membership. This is the closest gym to where I live and they have some good equiment, but I have voiced my concern about the hours before and no change was made, besides increasing the price. Membership has been cancelled.

They do well with the space they have and it has never felt crowded. Staff is always friendly and machines seem to be maintained well. Always clean.

So they have a new TV system and they can't put all the TVs on so they finally figured that out but they can't put them on the machines so you're stuck watching whatever they want to put on and guess what sports all day long. I'd like to see the news in the morning. We get there at 5 AM in the morning and the music is blasting. It Hass to be above the OSHA regulation decimals. Want to do the treadmill if you take it to high it goes right back to the first setting on the Elevation. Bathroom stinks of pee. I brought a lot of music to the attention of the growth counter and she said there's nothing we can do about it when I allowed to change. I said, can I speak to the manager manager at the same time that corporate said we're not allowed to change it and it's a new system and it can't be changed. I said that's ridiculous. I install systems all the time in peoples homes in every system can be lowered. Manager said I can make it louder and also told me to go get headphones that block out the sound. Really that's your answer to your member.

My friends call this a small gym but I consider it a medium sized gym. Their excellent customer service makes up for it!

Great gym really just need to fix their water fountain. I get it was closed during covid, but it doesn't seem like an excuse now. Otherwise I love the gym

Can't say enough nice things about this Gym. As a former gym owner I notice a lot in a gym. Gold's Carmel has a great staff and a very good lineup of classes. The owner is also a coach and his classes are excellent. There is a ton of equipment and they need it all because the place can get quite busy at peak hours. Maintenance is good and it's a mix of old and new machines. Bathrooms could use updating but they do a good job keeping them clean. The clientele is a mix of all ages and most are respectful.

Only gym I've ever been to in my life that didn't have a water fountain, where you'd have to pay for water (although I will say I was offered a cup of water at the front desk when I asked).For $35 a month, least they could give is free tap water.

The equipment isn't updated regularly...old equipment outdated. The gym on Carmel make it hard to cancel your membership. They continue to debit your account once the membership is canceled for several additional months. Bad business.

Loved this gym years ago but recently left because of the limited amount of machines on a busy day! Too many younger people hanging all over the equipment on their phones! Certain members giving 1 on 1 training sessions to other members. Thought this was frowned upon in most gyms?? Most of us are paying monthly and yearly dues and we have no choice but to pay for a personal trainer!!

Great gym, keeps clean, locker rooms and bathrooms surprisingly are well taken care of. Great layout and wonderful customer service would definitely suggest signing up if you are ready for the commitment
