I don't know why people lose their minds over a bank; this is fine. Parking, ATM has great services, the people are polite and helpful. Sometimes it's us. I'm 30 years in retail and it goes both ways sometimes. Every exception can't be the rule; for the most part, it balances out. There are a couple of establishments in town that could pick it up a notch. I've banked in every one over the last 35 years.

I am seriously disabled and have extreme difficulty walking and breathing. I sent someone to make a cash deposit into my Wells Fargo checking account. Upon arrival at the drive through window the teller refused to make the transaction because I wasn’t present. My friend went inside and spoke to branch manager and was denied to make the cash deposit again. He was actually told he can write a check from his chase account to me then they would accept that but they aren’t accepting a cash deposit. This deposit was only $400 with a deposit slip filled out by me with all my information preprinted on it by Wells Fargo. A small amount of money. He offered 3 forms of state ID to show who he was. They were completely uninterested in helping. He was also told if you don’t want to write a check to her then go to the post office and get a money order. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. I have never heard of anything like this before. It is extremely disheartening how this bank and branch deal with the disabled community. They are totally disregarding the needs of the disabled. This was the Carmel New York location.

Went to the bank in Carmel. System is down. Can’t get money out. Don’t have my account number wife has that at work. Had a bother her she’s a nurse. The lady tells me go to another bank get the money out. And Call Wells Fargo Customer service and fight for your money back from the other ATM withdrawal. Is she kidding me. Always something going on with this bank their hours suck system sucks. Every time you turn the news on they’re ripping you off for ripping customers off. I’m fighting with my wife right now to close my account there. I was there an hour and 20 minutes trying to get $600 out

The one star is for the fact they are convenient. I have had the pleasure of banking with the same banker for over 30 years. My wife and I moved to the area and I was looking for a bank that would be local and convenient. Since our mortgage and some credit cards are with Wells Fargo I decided to go there. I had a large deposit to put in the account and decided it might be nice to call the bank and let them know I would be coming in and see if there was anyone I could connect with to start a local relationship with so when I make large deposits etc they know me and perhaps they wouldn't ridiculously in 2021 have to hold on to my funds for 7 business days which is everyone knows is a joke. In any event it was clear that no one was interested in getting to know you on a personal basis and could care less so I just made my deposit with a 7 business day hold and then saw they had 2.6 star rating which tells the story. Sad that banks do not care to get to know the people they interact with. I only use them for convenience but they are nothing more to me.

Most horrible bank I've ever been to. HORRIBLE service, HORRIBLE everything. Tried to make an appointment and no one ever called back. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Carmel location ruins the bank for other locations.

I will not be banking here. Asked if I could use the bathroom and was met with rude and cranky response from a manager that overheard. First impression means a lot and you sir ruined it.

Would give negative if I could
Went in to cash my paycheck which was drawn on Wells Fargo... was told in a most condescending way that they are "under no obligation to cash my check " as I am not a Wells Fargo customer. My check was basically flinged back at me as if I was some kind of animal. I was told I should " deposit it at my own bank". I was treated as if it was some disgusting idea that I'd have even thought to come in there to cash my paycheck. I've gone to other Wells Fargo branches where I was treated with utmost professionalism while cashing my paycheck.
Wells Fargo should really look into this branch and their practices. I'm sure this branch has a lower performance than other nearby branches ... like Danbury where the tellers and managers are far more respectful and customer oriented .
Unfortunately, it's action by managers, which I assume this individual was that further reinforce why I would not open an account there

I use them but wish I didn't. Typical big bank just like my credit unions. Clean bank has a drive through ATM and one that can be accessed inside after hours.
