These people go above and beyond to take care of your vehicle while you are away. They took mine in to get repairs and stored my belongings/took care of my car weekly. Would recommend 1000 times

While the staff have always been exceptionally helpful, professional and polite I was dismayed when I opened my storage unit and discovered tons of mouse and rat p*** all over my boxes and tubs. I had to throw out a lot of my belongings due to the damage caused by the rodents. To make things worse there were dead mice all over and a dead rat. I also found a chunk of rat poison someone had placed in the unit. When I asked the owner why I was never notified of a rodent problem I was told that they never opened my unit and they never put poison in any units. I was also told that rodents can travel from unit to unit and that "many customers place food in their units" and that the poison was probably carried from another unit to mine. My husband and I then examined the unit and, sure enough, along the sliding door on each end at the bottom there is a space where rodents can indeed move from one unit to another. Bottom line is don't use these units if at all possible and, if you do, use only plastic or metal containers that seal and check the unit periodically to make sure a rat hasn't chewed through any containers. Obviously don't put any furniture or items that a rodent can get to and destroy.

We used Carefree to store our RV indoors during the winter months. Good facility from what we saw, but I’d say it’s their customer service that really shines. Nice folks and very helpful and patient. Our RV was just as we left it when we picked up in spring.

I just wish it could be cheaper. Personally I would rather build my own storage but having the time to do it is tricky.
