Letchworth State Park is a breathtaking and beautiful park, known as the "Grand Canyon of the East." It features stunning waterfalls, including three large ones and over 100 smaller cascades. The park offers mostly easy walks and 66 miles of hiking trails through gorge, forest, and ravines, though some steps can be slippery. It is a best spot for hiking and sightseeing, with gorgeous top viewpoints and Inspiration Point. The area is vast and explorable, especially beautiful in the fall when the leaves change colors. The park is dog-friendly and has lots of picnic areas with tables and open space. Restrooms are available, clean, and well-maintained. Visitors recommend wearing comfortable shoes and visiting during the work week to avoid crowds. Activities include camping, guided experiences, and visiting facilities like the Lower Falls Restaurant. It is a very pretty destination with something for everyone.
It is the best place East of the Mississippi River to go to view the fall colors!
Dog-friendliness: Doggies are welcome!

so so so gorgeous. I try and go at least once a year. my tip would be to go during the work week to avoid crowds. I went on a Monday in November and had a lot of spots to myself.
