Been over a month since I heard from my loan agent. Reney Brandon has ignored my emails after hard pulling my credit and refusing to provide me with information I have repeatedly asked for. This credit union is a complete waste of time and if you are trying to do anything time sensitive, they will screw you.

Yet another awful experience here. Waited 20 minutes in line due to tellers who are inefficient and seemingly lacking prerequisite skills for the job. Customers who waste time excessively chatting with the tellers who don't discourage it. Always long lines as a result. Tellers returning from break seemingly either amused or irritated by the long line. Managers who hide instead of helping. I'll never go back there, and don't want an apology from the company. Terrible branch.

Not the best experience. I do not understand why I was waiting 15 minutes to see a customer service representative. The branch manager called my name as I was next in line, I asked her if there was a reason why I was waiting 15 minutes, she muttered something about - someone being on break and then someone being on a call? The only other CSR I saw was a man with glasses who was assisting a guest at the teller line, then went back to his desk. Pretty sure I was waiting before he “took that call” furthermore, she advised for future reference I could go to the teller line for the letter. Hmmm, how would a customer know this? Maybe train the (4) tellers that were either talking or playing around with the customers dog, during their downtime, that if they see customers waiting, ask why they are waiting and see if assistance can be offered? Maybe my wait would have been less if this was done? The icing on the cake? The branch manager did not even apologize for me having to wait. Her attitude was as if customers should know they have to wait? Ever since SEFCU/CAP COM merged and became Broadview the wait times have been longer, and the customer service non-existent.

I had to go to Broadview credit union today, which has been my credit union for many years. I went to open a new checking account and to make a couple more adjustments on other accounts I have there. Erin was the young lady who helped me and not only was she very helpful and knowledgeable, but extremely pleasant. I see that the credit union doesn’t get the best and highest ratings, but I’ve never had an issue with them at all. Erin made this process very simple and very pleasant.

I recently became acquainted with Broadview upon the death of my brother. Dealing with my own health issues, they were kind and accommodating and they were just comfortable to deal with. They assisted me with all legalities involved.
I have been assisted by several members of the Schodack Branch. I seem to have lost the name of the young lady who initially assisted me in opening the account. Recently, I have been assisted with an issue by Rikki Alert which she quickly resolved. Even more recently there was an issue over payments involving a government agency involving a considerable amount of money. In this I was assisted by Kate Lynn Carmody. I was so impressed with her presence, in person and on the phone. Soft spoken, knowledgeable and in control. In a short time she tracked down the right people to resolve the issue. It was something watching her work.
All in all, a cordial, knowledgeable, impressive group of people.

What happened to the old CapCom/Sefcu? I had 4 vehicles loans over the last 20 years and now I'm denied. I know people with $100,000+ in their accounts who have been denied vehicle loans. This is just another bank now. No real perks to using this bank.

The BEST credit union that I have ever used.
Fantastic options for checking, savings, CDs, credit cards, etc. And, none of the ridiculous fees and rules that commercial banks charge.
The staff is WONDERFUL- very helpful and nice.
I couldn't be any happier with a bank!

I will be cancelling EVERYTHING..!!so I won’t be calling or emailing shame on you guys what a SCAM..!!
I was told my account would be exactly the same as CAPCOM.Where if funds aren’t available it would get rejected WITH NO CHARGES.I had a payment that was processed three times on both my savings and my checking account (duplicated)And you guys charged me over draft fees for both account even though the account the duplicated charge occurred on had enough funds to cover it.I was then told oh it’s for my protection and I would not be refunded.
I will absolutely make it my duty as soon as the sun rises on my next off day to switch banks you guys are just terrible that is not even the half of my encounter with you guys.Then when customers complain y’all post a copy and pasted nonsense message.My real rating is 0/5 stars because this is my second review for the multiple errors and foolishness you guys put us through

poor customer service response. locked out of account. no answer. waiting on hold forever…Cant even view what im usually able to (i.e. basic account balances).

I can’t believe this. I’ve been into the branch FOUR times to close my account over the last six months and still for some reason the account is not closed. I have sent countless emails and made countless phone calls. If I was this incompetent at my job I would be fired!!! Horrible horrible service!!!
