Beautiful orchard! We went on a Saturday afternoon and there was live music, vendors, and a tractor ride. It wasn't too crowded and there was ample parking. No fee for parking either (which is always a plus!) There is also a large farm store with a bar in the back. We had a great time with the family.

Nice, people ruin it, several unsupervised boys, 7 to 10 years old, throwing a football in a crowd, parents not caring or not nearby, almost hit several people and were laughing about it. Sad

Tried to go on a Saturday at 5:00pm. Online says they close at 6pm. Called ahead of time to verify. Arrived at 4:55pm to find the door locked. The employees and their families were inside and ignored us through the window.
There was tent outside with several scantily clad young women wearing club attire (spandex micro minis and stripper boots). There were several men there in work boots and flannel. They were all drinking beer and making out. Not sure what was going on, but a sign saying " closed for private event" would have been nice.
Whatever was going in, this place is apparently not a wholesome type of farm that I want to bring my family to. Won't be back.
UPDATE:
Owner is responding to a 3 year old review. It “reposted” when I updated a typo. I want to point out that the owner chose not to respond when this was initially posted, when the issue could have actually been explored and possible addressed.

I enjoyed the hay ride. It was free, which was a good surprise. There were several vendors. We shopped with a cotton candy vendor who also sold lemonades, they were very pleasant! We sampled kettle corn and the employee handing out samples was very inviting. The folks working in the store on-site (bakery were very nice). I wish I could say the same for everyone we interacted with that day. We initially came here to go apple picking, but the energy was strange. The visitors to the Apple orchard however, let’s just say, we didn’t stay very long. We were two of a few POC and didn’t feel welcomed. It’s not somewhere I would return to. There was one vendor in particular who didn’t even greet us and made us feel “othered”. We really enjoyed the baked goods.

We've come here a couple years in a row after we participate in the breast cancer walk. We've always really enjoyed it but this year they didn't even serve warm donuts (why we like to go) they were prepackaged and not great. Apple picking was at a minimum because there was barely anything left (we know it's late in the season so that's ok) just super disappointed this year.

I have not went to an apple orchard in many years, sad and disappointed to have heard that Good Orchards has moved on and sold their business to Windy Hill Orchard 😠
I have many memories of Goold and will miss them 😔
I visited Windy Hill Orchard over the weekend and was not satisfied 👎
The picked apples are nothing to brag about, the cider was horrible and had no taste 🤮,
I can buy better cider @ Pricechopper 😋 plus the donuts didn't taste good even though they were smothered in sugar.
The service could have been better, the teenage employees working the registers have attitudes and no business manners, probably never worked dealing with customers or the public where kindness and smiling is required, but then again Windy Hill employed them!
The food trucks had long lines and the prices were ridiculous, good thing I ate breakfast before going to Windy Hill then went to eat after at a reasonably priced restaurant with generous portions.
My next 🍏 picking adventure will not be at Windy Hill Orchards!

Called weeks ahead and was provided inaccurate information concerning apple types. We went on the week we were told our apples would be available and it turned out they didn't even have that type. To be honest they didn't have many apples at all for you pick and the ones they did have were in bad condition. This orchard is not well maintained and is focused more toward a party crowd.

This place is not how you remember it, don't go here for apple picking and don't bring your kids.
This is for partying now and the focus is live music and vendors not the fall fun you expect at a you pick orchard. People were dressed for the night club, if that is solely what you're after then this is your place. I think their responses to other recent 1 star reviews shows exactly what they are like now.
The apples are scarce and marred. The orchard itself is not well maintained. Rows are full of rotten apples and the lawn is high. Apple cider and donuts are flavorless.
We went here for years and now we will be switching, my toddler was so disappointed that she asked to go apple picking the next day. Samascott's was great, clean rows and healthy trees with lots of apples. The cider and donuts were tasty.

Lots of things to do there, especially for little ones
