This place is great and family friendly! We've visited in September for the season (get some warm donuts!) for a live band and food trucks and we've been back for pizza and wings on Fridays and Saturdays during the off-season!Brothers Todd and Scott and the rest of the family who owns the establishment are incredibly helpful and friendly; you can tell they take great pride in their business. Go for a visit!

This is our second year at windy hill. In previous years we've gone to Bowman's but we've made the switch to windy hill for various reasons... the prices are fair, the donuts and cider are awesome, and it's not too far away. We were not forced to by a bag based off how large our group is(unlike Bowman's, read their upick stipulations.) Although Bowman's is good, We will definitely be coming back to windy hill.Only gave 4 stars because they don't accept farmers market checks and the port-a-potties were too gross to use and also didn't lock.Overall great experience. Everyone had a great time! See you next year.

Easy to walk, and the best prices you'll find in the capital region. The staff is super friendly. Amazing place to bring the family for a fall day. Oh, and can't forget the apple cider donuts!!

Great orchard!! Parking is free bags are free, very family friendly. On the weekends they even have vendors outside with food and small shops to pick from. They have tons of options in the market with bakery items, pre picked apples overall a ton to pick from. Only complaint the young girls in the market cafe need to learn some customer service as they were very rude.

Windy Hill Orchard is an absolute treasure, and not even the rain could dampen our spirits during our apple-picking adventure with family. The atmosphere was lively with music playing, and the apple selection was fantastic. What's more, the charming setup where you pay for the apples also offers delightful treats like hot, fresh cider donuts, fudge, and so much more.To top it off, there are food trucks for a satisfying meal. It truly is a fantastic place for family fun, and we can't wait to return!

Dog friendly orchard near Albany, NY! They have tons to do & eat including a free corn maze, apple picking, live music, vendors, food trucks and more! What a spot - it was like a mini fairgrounds! We walked the property with our pup, got some frozen Apple Cider and donuts, kettle corn, lemonade and did the free corn maze! We don't have dog friendly orchards where we are (CT) so love that we had this spot nearby to take our pup!

This is the place you want to go if you want a very good time for you and your family. There are free bags and a wide variety of apples. You can bring your dog, and they give you free hay rides. I mean, that's fantastic, pay by the pound, very affordable and free parking. They also have live music and local vendors, and lots of different pastries. They were also very efficient in getting their customers through the line. This is definitely a good place to go when you want a good time.

What a great local place! They host free, family friendly events constantly. Each event I've attend had local vendors and food trucks in addition to their own array of sweets in their on-site shop. A shop that always has local craft goods for sale. Additionally, they have bar that feels like a lounge where they make their own cider. Can't recommend a visit enough.
