“While on an American River cruise from New York City to Albany, we had the pleasure to pull into Catskill. Although most of the stores were closed, we stopped in front of Swamp Angel Antiques (SAA) to do some window shopping. SAA was also closed, but when the owner's son, Phil, saw us looking in, he immediately opened the store for us, giving us the grand tour! WOW, the finest collection of very well-maintained older tools I have ever seen!!! If you are traveling through Catskill, you must stop in and do some shopping! They also have a custom frame shop in the store! Superb customer service!!!!”
“Ray's shop is wonderful! If you're fed up with the crazy high prices for vintage cloths at all the new Brooklyn shops in the area, you should check this shop out. She has been in the business for over three decades, and it was a joy to shop here. Lovely woman, lovely stuff!”
“What an incredible shop full of treasures. A real feast for your eyes! We picked up a few treasures to take home. There were some really nice chairs hung up in the back if you are in the market for chairs. Ray was quite literally a ray of sunshine. A super cool dude with incredible knowledge, humor and stories. He introduced us to his two sweet kitties. His passion and outlook on life was so inspiring. Ray also showed us pictures of the beautiful river behind the shop. This was truly a highlight to our visit to the Catskills and we can't wait to come back!”

For those who think that this place is overpriced, you may not know how to price items. Everything in the stores fairly priced according to what it’s worth. The staff was Friendly and the store was fairly large.”
