I'm very, very grateful to the Walgreens Company. In 2013 I was dealing with a chronically ill family member and unemployment. The Walgreens in Burlington NJ was a blessing to me. The Walgreens here in the Catskills has the same caring, welcoming concerned and professional attitude. Thanks to Rich, very patient, kind, comfortable attitude .

Went to this store to get a item that shows in stock on there website, drove over a hour and guess what, no item. Talk to a sales rep that was not very friendly and it shows in stock in Hudson and ask if he could call and make sure, he did and that person just said no we do not with out even checking. I told the sales rep that the website doesn’t seem to work if it shows it’s in stock and it’s not, he said it’s not surprising the websites a piece of junk.

Registered for my covid booster and flu shot at Walgreens in Catskill. This is not my usual pharmacy, but it was the closest one carrying moderna when I wanted to get it. Overall, the store looked shabby and the shelves were not stocked. Maybe there are renovations going on, so won't judge too harshly there. The few staff working were not very friendly. When it was my turn, the pharmacist had trouble with the computer and seemed grouchy. All of this is tolerable. What bothered me was after the pharmacist pulled the covid booster needle out of my arm, they went to discharge the cartridge from the needle. I saw a large arch of fluid shoot out of the needle. That was vaccine that was supposed to be in my arm. I didn't say anything at the time, but wish I had. Left there very unhappy, indeed. I won't be going back to Walgreens in Catskill for anything in the future.

This store is located in the Stone Ridge Plaza. It's location is conveniently next to multiple businesses I frequent. The store has undergone frequent upgrades in the past several years. They offer an amazing variety of candy and snacks! They have frequent sales that are real money savers. They have almost anything you could need. I was recently able to schedule my booster COVID shot on line within five days. They offer a Walgreens Card which gives you additional savings at checkout. Having Walgreens at a local location saves me both time and money which is even more important with current fuel prices.

How does a large chain store like Walgreens close its pharmacy on Saturdays and Sundays??? Most people work all week long then to close at 6pm during the week!! I’m just finishing up work at that time. Our family has always used Walgreens now we have no choice but to go elsewhere. My husband has been without his blood pressure medicine for days and to go there and find it closed! Baffled

I was severely disappointed with the Walgreens store in Catskill. My wife and I have a fairly large number of prescriptions administered by the store and have generally found the service to be good. I visited the store on Saturday, December 11, 2021, to pick up some medicines for my wife. They were controlled substances and subject to some restrictions. When I arrived at the store on Saturday I found the pharmacy hours had been severely reduced. The pharmacy was closed on both Saturdays and Sundays. It also appeared that weekday hours were also reduced. Other Walgreens stores were unable to honor the prescription because the medicines were controlled substances. I did obtain them on Monday. I do not argue against Walgreens changing hours of operation for whatever reason. (The stated cause was that pharmacists were not available.) My real concern is that there was no notification to customers, such as me, about the weekend shutdown. We have received many phone calls and emails from the store promoting items or services. I suggested that the store hire weekday pharmacists from other Walgreens at double the normal salary for Sunday, December 12, at least. There seemed to be general apathy in the store. Adjacent signs on the closed pharmacy windows indicated that the pharmacy was closed on weekend days while the adjacent sign indicated normal hours.
