Terribly mismanaged. I had a prescription for a test faxed over by my doctor and I confirmed on the phone that it was received. When I went to the Cedarhurst location, I was told they didn't have it. I couldn't have it resent because my Dr was closed. I rearranged my schedule and paid for a cab just for unhelpful people to waste my time. The phone calls go to a call center, not the actual location, even during open hours. If you call, you can't be guaranteed that the representatives will know what they are talking about. I even called the number of the location while I was standing at the front desk and the call didn't go to their phone! The paperwork there is managed manually and is very obviously disorderly. They can't even confirm if they got a fax (even though someone in the call center was somehow able to tell my mine was received). Why even have a phone number and a fax if it's not tended to properly? Everyone I spoke to was extremely unhelpful and unsympathetic. I'd avoid this place if I can.

Trevor and Lotika were professional and friendly. This was my first experience coming to this location and I will definitely come back. Check in was quick. Trevor was easy to talk to and he drew my blood quickly without any discomfort.

Front desk ... no patience and nasty. Try a smile.. goes a long way. also made an appointment waited 15 minutes after my appointment time to be told they dont do the tests i need. Waste of time. Will be headed to Lab Corp fromnow on .

I never review things but I had to for the other mamas out there - Destiny found my 3 year old’s vein in seconds and by the time he noticed what was happening she was pretty much done! She was so sweet with him as well! This was the best experience we have ever had with a lab drawing out little ones blood! Highly recommend! Also parking was easy and we were in and out of there quickly in general!

Had an appnt with a prescription that was faxed in 2x. Called to confirm the day before that they received and was told they had it and when showed following morning for appnt they said they didn’t have. In addition sat and waited and waited for blood draw when place was empty

The best lab to get tested at!! I get faint from blood tests sometimes, and they took amazing care of me! I'll be returning back here next time I need any lab work for sure.

Can a review get any easier! I like to have my blood drawn before I actually have my yearly physical, so with that being said, I decided I would get Northwell labs on Central Avenue in Cedarhurst. I arrived at 9 AM and found a convenient parking spot right in front of the lab. Just so you know, there are meters in front, so please make sure you drop a quarter in. I went in, and I told her to tell the receptionist what I was here for, and she kindly asked me to sign in Using the ipad. The receptionist gave me an additional form to fill out, just name, address so on and so forth. With that, the technician called me into the back, took my blood, and I was out of there and literally 10 minutes. Like I said, can a review get any easier?I would definitely recommend this location for all of your lab needs.

I went for a glucose test and they were amazing. From my experience with labs you expect to be ignored, feel pain and the wait is incredibly long. This location was such a positive experience. They were extremely kind, patient and the phlebotomist didn’t hurt at all. I will only be using this lab in the future.

The only good thing about this lab was that my results were uploaded fast. Other than that…service was NOT GOOD.I was left with a big and painful bruise due to poor technique. They had me filling out a form I didn’t even need to fill out at first. Phlebotomist had a poor bedside manner.I’ll be avoiding this lab in the future.

great service when I'm there, however receiving results from the tests can take a while and they rarely answer the phone to answer any questions. additionally their online portal is horrible, no option for a live chat or to get information for important questions like other online portals have. lastly, the phone says if you have any questions please remain on the line but after a few second it automatically hangs up on you. inside the office, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly but anything after that and you will hit a hard stop/wall

Malek was awesome .We were in and out in less than a half an hour he took care of everything from the paperwork to the blood drawing, and he was friendly and nice and easy going
