So it's reasonable to not allow walk-ins past a certain time. What isn't reasonable is not to communicate that. When the door is still open, it's 20 minutes before closing, and the kiosk invites you to enter all your info and take a seat, you'd think that means you got there just in time. At least have the courtesy to post clearly, preferably both online and on location, when the deadline is for walk-ins. And turn off the kiosk check in so people don't have to waste their time filling everything in only to find out afterward that it was for nothing.

I went to this office and thought I had made an appointment for Saturday morning. Once I got there and submitted my information I realized that my appointment was for Sunday. I then had to enter myself as a walk-in. I had to wait, there were several clients waiting ahead of me and it was 30 minutes before closing. There were 2 phlebotomist working, Donna and Zaria, they were both very pleasant and professional. Donna drew my blood and was patient with me when I asked questions about the amount of tubes draw because it wasn’t the usual amount. She took time to explain everything and assured me it would be fine. I’m not sure why this facility got such poor reviews but the were exceptional in my opinion. This office is also one of the few open on Sunday. I would definitely use them again. Thank Donna and Zaria for your work ethic clearly shown.

You couldn’t process my insurance correctly. Then you placed multiple holds on my credit card rather than allowing the claim process to proceed and billing me for any outstanding amounts later, demonstrating a lack of trust and respect for me as a patient. When I expressed my frustrations, your over sensitive immature staff tried to throw me out of the office and refused to provide necessary medical care.

I wish I’d caught the name of the phlebotomist who helped me, because she was truly exceptional—so patient, gentle, and reassuring. The whole process was seamless; I was in and out in under 10 minutes. I always appreciate when someone is so good at their job that it actually makes what could be an uncomfortable experience feel completely stress-free.

Quest Diagnostics in Cedarhurst, NY, is absolutely fantastic! I usually schedule an appointment, but due to unexpected circumstances, I had to do a walk-in. Since it was a Sunday, this was the only nearby location open, and I was a bit worried about long wait times. However, they took me in with only a 15-minute wait, which was incredible for a walk-in!
The staff was professional, efficient, and welcoming. Even though I didn’t have an appointment, everything was handled smoothly, and I was in and out in no time. This level of service, especially on a weekend, exceeded my expectations.
One thing I noticed that sets this location apart is that they seem to have examination tables, which you don't typically see at other Quest locations. I got my bloodwork done while sitting in the usual chair, but this could be especially helpful for someone who has a tendency to faint or needs to lie down during a blood draw. I’ll definitely be recommending this location to someone I know in that situation.
I truly appreciate how well this location is run, and I will definitely be coming back here for any future lab work. Highly recommend!

With my child, it was very difficult to be able to take a blood sample. I went to several quests and the staff never wanted to take his blood, but this quest has excellent staff and they are very professional. I personally recommend them 100%

It's super easy to schedule a visit to a Quest Diagnostics location via the Quest app or website. Text appointment reminders, and being able to "check in" while still in my car, are very useful.
Both Judy and Jordan at Site Code CDU were phenomenal. I'm extremely squeamish when it comes to needles; Judy and Jordan saw to it that my blood draws went extremely fast, and practically painless. They both spoke to me during the blood draws to get my mind off of what was happening.
I'd give both Judy and Jordan more than five stars if I could.
I highly recommend Quest Diagnostics.

my appointment is at 10:30, the lady said they’re calling in people from 9:30 and it’s already 10:36. Unprofessional and extremely lazy workers, you should NOT be calling in 9:30 appointments at 10:36. the website literally says after 10 minutes you are treated as a walk in.

Jerome is a great professional phlebotomist. I have post chemo tiny roller veins but he was able to take a sample with no pain and no tears

Made an appointment the night before, when I arrived at the location and it wasn’t in the system… no one to talk in person or on the phone. Customer service is basically nonexistent… all I needed to do was drop off a specimen to be tested…

I didn't have to wait that long. There were not that many patients.
