About Hertz Car Rental - Centereach - Middle Country Road
Hertz Car Rental on Middle Country Road in Centereach is described by customers as a convenient location with generally positive experiences. Reviewers note the staff as prompt, courteous, and great to work with. The office is small with a limited stock of cars, though it is noted that electric vehicles are often available. Customers appreciate that vehicles, including larger SUVs, vans, and trucks, are cleaned on-site.
The rental process can involve waits, such as for a car to be returned, but this sometimes results in a free upgrade to a larger vehicle at the same price. However, there are criticisms regarding deposit policies for rideshare rentals, cited as unacceptable, and potential high charges for not refueling before return. While one reservation led to initial uncertainty about car availability, it was resolved. Overall, many recommend this location, especially compared to other nearby offices, for a straightforward rental experience.
