“We worked with Tom and Manny of Kitchen and Bath Depot during the renovation of my mom's kitchen in her 1950s house, here in Valley Stream, and they were incredibly diligent and helpful from start to finish. Before selecting materials, we did our due diligence—gathering quotes from multiple vendors and researching the recent rise in material costs—so we knew their pricing was fair and competitive.
In the store, Tom and Manny walked us through materials, finishes, and pricing options, helping us understand what we should source ourselves and what they would handle. They provided exact size ranges for appliances and fixtures, which made our shopping process much easier.
They also coordinated the electrical work needed to bring the kitchen safely up to grade—an important part of the renovation that gave us peace of mind. Payments for materials were accepted via check or ACH wire so orders could be placed promptly.
The cabinet colors we selected were beautiful (Shaker Collection- Woodland Brown and Champagne Maple), and the quality exceeded our expectations once installed. Throughout the process, Tom and Manny were patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping us create a kitchen our mom would love.
For anyone in Nassau County looking for honest guidance, quality materials, and a team that cares about the final outcome, we highly recommend Kitchen and Bath Depot.”

“This is a clean and well stocked Home Depot. If you can get an employee to help you, they are nice, helpful and many speak Spanish. They had everything that I was looking for and it was all easy to find. The store layout is similar to other Home Depots, so it did not take long to get what I needed. The parking lot is a disaster. It is not well maintained, there are pot holes and garbage all over and lighting is not that great at night.”

“I’ve been to this Home Depot on many occasions. Most of the time they are well-stocked, have reasonable prices, and all the equipment that I need. Most of the staff are extremely kind welcoming and helpful. There have been occasions when I’ve encountered staff that don’t know what they are doing, and are unable to help, but the majority of the time the staff are helpful. The one complaint I have,, which is a consistent problem, are their shopping carts. They ate In the worst possible condition. They are extremely difficult to push and manipulate. With muscle strength limited due to illness, this makes my trip to Home Depot extremely difficult. Even those who are healthy would find these carts a challenge. I don’t think it would take too much to replace these cards with new ones. hopefully Home Depot will see this review and take some action! It Is my favorite store after all.
Update on 4/2/26 I recently visited Home depot and discovered they have new shopping carts!! I am so thankful! Now I can shop without pain and difficulty. Great job Home Depot!”
