Off the Beaten Path Sporting is a bait and tackle shop just off Route 7 in Sloansville/Central Bridge, Schoharie County. It is known for its excellent prices, great selection, and top-notch, healthy bait. The owner provides extremely helpful advice on the best local fishing spots and will work to get items you need. The shop opens very early and is considered the best around with personality you can't beat.
Great little shop with a very knowledgeable owner. TONS of unique soft plastics that I’ve never seen anywhere else for an amazing price. I found this place by chance on my way by, and I’m glad I stopped in.
