“Extremely disappointed. Had Allstate carburetor do a complete rebuild of my holly four barrel off my 68 Mustang. I did this in lieu of buying a new Holly. Thought it would be cool to have the original carburetor with the factory tags on my vehicle. Approximately one year later, Which for this vehicle is about 200 miles, Gas was pumping out of the secondary float bowl like a fire hose. Called Allstate told him the situation, They said the needle and seat was contaminated with a speck of dirt or something. Per their advice, removed cleaned, needle and seat was good. The one thing I did notice was that the gasket on the float adjusting bowl with shredded. Basically, they didn’t seem concerned about standing behind their efforts. UPDATE: Upon receiving a call from Jarrod or Jim I can’t remember whom, I was given the opportunity to express Disappointment. Conclusion of the conversation, it was agreed I would send it back and They would take a look, diagnose And repair. I sent it back. They received the carburetor yesterday, October 6 in the morning. I received an email later that day that my carburetor was on the way back to me. Come to find out the secondary float had collapsed. I feel horrible about jumping the gun And assuming the worst of Allstate. They proved me wrong, I can’t tell you how pleased I am with their quick attention To diagnose and repair and return my carburetor. I wouldn’t hesitate a bit to recommend this company. A great example of their customer service. Guys, please accept my apologies for my initial bad review”
