Everyone knows that a good Target location is basically Heaven on Earth! However, there are other Target locations that make you feel like you're visiting . . . well, you know where. This location is right in the middle. Some days bring me great joy and others frustrate me beyond your wildest dreams. Personally, I just find this location to be lacking in cleanliness and consistent customer service. To maximize the productivity and enjoyment of your visit here, definitely do a drive up or pickup order, so you know what's actually in stock and can set up a backup option if you'd like.

Make sure you bring your own bags to shop instead of paying extra for brown paper bags ! Target is my go to place gets a little chaotic with lines but flows well

I didn't go inside the target so I have no idea so I can't give it five stars but my experience with picking up an order was great so I'll give more reviews once I actually slept for inside the place

I'd been going To Bay Shore when I first moved out here because I didn't know this little gem of a Target was so close by. I was thrilled to discover it and it's been my Target ever since. ''Everyone's always extremely helpful and knowledgeable when I'm there. Parking is ample. I like the set up of this store better than Bay Shore-this Central Islip store seems more spread out, and they're remodeling now.always find what I need. I've come to love their brands, and there are many. Great value and quality. customer service is awesome. I'd ordered something online to pick up in store but never received a notification-and the main phone line was disconnecting me. I called another department and got a very nice guy named Romar (Or Romaro) and he was super helpful. He looked up my order and told me where to pick it up, to have my pick up person (husband) just bring his ID to the pick up area.when husband got there, Romar noticed one of the bags was taped because of a hole and said that's not acceptable- he went and got another bag from stock. He went above and beyond! He also apologized for the phone disconnects and explained that they're getting new phone lines. I appreciated him goimg out if his way and just always get great customer service as well.

Couldnt get a hold of one single person on the phone. Called multiple times and every line hung up. Target, we know you don't care about customers, the very least you can do is pretend like you do.

I have been coming to this target for two years now but lately the last couple months it's been little frustrating that I can't find things I need at the moment specially in the food sections. For a simple juice sometimes I have to switch to another because they don't have much of what my husband and son love. Not sure what is going on but lately haven't been a big of coming here. May have to switch.

I always go to this target. However, after today I will no longer visit this particular store. If you have a small breed dog steer away from this location. I was told by the manger, Doug, that dogs were not allowed. I have an under 5 pound dog! I have her in her own blanket she is not walking the aisles she is always by my side! I take her at all target locations and have never been told this! For this reason this was very odd to me. Even though their policy states "service" dogs only. The majority of targets are very lenient with this policy. Especially, if the dog is no where near the food section and is held by the owner. *Aside from this it is definitely not the most organized or clean target. And, the carts certainly need to be replace with new ones.

I come to this target literally all the time causee it's close to my home. I work in target not to far from this location and I will be going there to shop from now on. I payed for my stuff at self checkout, forgetting the paper towels under cart unintentional but I had to pay for formula anyways so went back to a register to use my wic card. Cashier asks me if she can see my receipt for alL the things in my cart. She is not asset protection to even be asking me that, even after seeing the receipt I had on top oF the bags. Worst service ever here, I will be shopping at my own target from now on.

I usually go to the Target in Bayshore because it is so much more organized , clean and neat . There are plenty of cashiers open so there are few lines . But for convince this location is closer to home , so off I went . I only needed a few items and they had what I needed so that was a big plus ! The store itself is disorganized ,messy and kinda dirty . The cashiers are always pleasant so no problem there , unfortunately not many registers are open and the self service line is ridiculously long ! Maybe it's because of the holiday season but still no excuse ! I think they are understaffed! Three stars today because they had everything I needed and I was in and out quickly , except for waiting on line to check out !

Every time you go to target in Central Islip you have to fight either with the Cashers or customer service or manager , I went today and I saw a vacum bisell at $109 with the sticker and everything I took a pic of the vacuum and sticker sale (just in case) and I when to customer service to pay and they began telling me that customer move things around and that tthe vacuum wasn't with the right price.. I ask for the manager he came and said the same thing that the price on the on the sticker is not the right price and that customers move things around the store .. I explain to him that on the shelf that was the only vacuum and that the sticker said $109 and that the sticker had the description of the vacuum on it and that I even took a pic of the vacuum to show him ,then he began telling me that he can't give it to me for the price but he can for $150 ... then I toll him that he should HONOR that price that it wasn't my problem that the vacuum was on the wrong place and had the wrong price his answer was " No I only can sell it for 150 ..., then I proceed to tell him that I was going to call the 1800 number to complain , he respond saying call them with an acttitude then he turn around he leave me talking to my self ,then I call 1800 440 0680 (target main office) to complain and I explain everything and I got no help with the matter the only respond I got was that the manager on the store said that he can sell it for $150 NO HELP AT ALL. nothing in the store has the right price , nothing is on the right place is annoying .

If I could give zero stars I would. They are having a promotion for a $15 if you spend $75 or more on baby products (formula/diapers/wipes/baby food). I tried to buy 13 bottles of my sons (ready to feed) formula at 4:15 in the afternoon and was told I could not buy more than 5 unless I was a WIC customer!! They explained they only get a delivery once a day and they need to ensure there was enough for everyone (but I guess they don't care if you leave enough for others if the government is paying for it). The day is almost over and they are getting a truck tomorrow. They wouldn't even sell me 8 bottles (enough to meet the requirements for the $15 giftcard). That store is a joke!! Complete b******* if you need to work for what you have. I will start buying my baby products at Walmart.

Back here again after a 6 year, not even a hiatus, more like an avoidance because the other Target nearby doesn't have what I need. Same old . The people who come in and open up food, eat, and leave are more present than ever. Wish I took a pic but I think the guy whose breakfast I interrupted is walking quickly right behind me (hot coffee and a bar of some type). At least he bought some Starbucks to drink. Evolution of the box eaters? Nah, the coffee makers aren't plugged in for store use and he wanted hot coffee. Morons still refuse to use parking spaces and fill up the fire lanes. Same old Target. Obviously corporate doesn't care and I don't know how this place stays open. Bonus is the new self pay lanes. Other than that same old store. Oh yea, bonus for Pokémon players, Pokémon Stop right outside the bottle room door. But please, use a parking space and walk there!

Here's the Scoop: love target for a quick go to. Whenever I need a household item or a dress I'm there. Service is fast and friendly. Lines move fast and Starbucks inside. It's a win, win. Often in store sales can be found and the grocery Deot. has fresh produce also. Always have coupon deals going on . Check them out.
