“We were at the post office today getting passports done for our 3 kids, and Jose was absolutely amazing. He made what could’ve been a super stressful process actually smooth and even fun. He was patient, helpful, and so good with the kids — cracking jokes and keeping things light while still getting everything done right. You can tell he actually cares and enjoys helping people, which is rare these days. We’ve dealt with grumpy attitudes at other places before, but Jose really stood out in the best way. We’ll definitely be coming back to this location just because of him. Thank you, Jose!”

“Katonah postmaster was terrific, I had an issue trying to forward a business address as we moved. Online service was not helpful and she walked me through it and within 10 days or so the business mail started to get delivered, she was patient and so helpful!”
“Easily the best post office I’ve ever used. They have a parking lot (!!) and I’ve gotten to know both postmasters and most of the clerks over the past decade. The staff is professional and efficient and even though at busy times it backs up easily (credit a lot of privileged suburbanites who use the USPS all of once a year and equally unprepared college kids from the two local schools), I have always trusted this post office and the excellent service and support they’ve long given me and my business.”
“Everyone is always pleasant and courteous. Post offices have a bad rep sometimes but I find this one stress free and easy. I don’t really get the negative reviews. Sometimes packages get lost because it goes through a huge system after it leaves the local branch. I wouldn’t blame them for that.”

“I find the people that work the windows to be unfailingly polite, helpful and efficient. The USPS has been starved for funds for ages now so if you're unhappy with this post office, write your congressman and advocate for better funding - don't blame the people who do the best they can with outdated equipment, office space etc.”
“Honestly no idea why this place has such a low rating. Been living in Ossining for about seven years now and I wouldn’t trade this postal office for any other one. Always a positive attitude and will to help! Every time I go in there they are always smiling and ready to help. You know dmv offices and pretty much any gov office is filled with snotty not wanting to work people but these people are good hard working people that always do their job with a smile and what more can you ask for. “Gregory is the gem of this post office. Patient, accommodating and just overall a nice person. Only reason I can’t give 5 stars here is because every time I come in, only 1 person is working the front and there is always a line. If they could adjust that, I think the reviews here would drastically improve.”
“USPS is the best here. I interact with them extensively and this is my favorite location. I would strongly recommend anyone who is interacting with the USPS to figure out self-shipping tools and how to print your own labels from home. That has made my USPS experience much better.”
“Looks like all of the 1-star reviews are regarding passports. Weekday afternoon the Asian gentleman George was perfectly delightful and pleasant with handling my prepaid mail. So all is well with normal postal business. I suppose go elsewhere for passport making.”

“I am very happy with the service at this post office. The staff always greets me with a smile and quick service. I go there regularly to send out packages and have to say the one employee Ash is always very friendly and welcomes everyone with a smile and wishes everyone a great day as they leave. I will continue to bring all my mail and packages to this location just based on the customer service alone”
“Just had a Hanukkah miracle! We were missing a package and since it was Christmas everything was closed. I called the post office the next day and Kenisha was SOOO pleasant and patient! She help crack the case of the missing holiday package. Hanukkah was saved and one less tween meltdown. THANK YOU so much!!!”

On the contrary, my wife had a poor experience in the actual post office. John more than makes up for that experience. 5 stars, thanks John!”
“I have have pleasant experiences at this location. It close to my job. I have never waited more than 5 mins, maybe I go in at the right times. Everyone has been helpful and kind. I rather come here then visit my local post office”

“This is a great home town post office. It's small but that's what makes it so convenient. No lines and quick & friendly service. You have to be aware of their hours which are different from the main offices but other than that I really appreciate having it in my area.”
“I had the most amazing experience here with Cindy and Amanda. I had to ship out my wedding invitations. The place was empty and they tackled the packages efficiently and quickly. I have made 5 stops to other post offices and the experience wasn't the same. This will be my go to post office moving forward. These ladies understand customer service, empathy, and their service.”

“This post office service staff is heads and heels beyond friendly and helpful, I got my kids passports done here, and I had anxiety when I didn't have everything needed, they were understanding and still took photos I ran home and grabbed the required documents and they took my applications. Always friendly when I come in to drop off packages. Totally not the case for other usps locations in the region.”
