“About 5yrs ago, Mr Silva did some work on a car that I had. During that whole process, I asked him to powder coat my rims. He did, and they were great. I sold the car to my friend who lived in Florida. I saw that his rims stood up to the salt/sand and blasting sun heat. So when I bought my '24 Lexus, I drove my car to NY from S.Florida to have him powder coat the stock rims. Again a beautiful job. Yes, there is powder coat places in Florida, yet they wanted to hold my car 10 days along with a ridiculous high price. Tony does the work in 3 days with a very fair price. Mr.Silva, Tony, is a professional and and gentleman. I can't recommend this place more than I do. My ride home to Florida was great with my new rims. At each gas stop, I was constantly receiving compliments on my rims!! Thanks Silvas auto body!”

He not only fixed the cosmetics but ensured that parts under the hood that were bent due to the collision force were replaced. He did not rush the repair. Called & Chris said to bring it right down. Based on mu Audi 2014 A6 TDI was outside their scope, they suggested I locate an Audi dealership. Not only that they helped me locate the closet one to bring my car. My major issues was springs front end from POT HOLES on the way down. I would highly recommend this location for any service issue. “I went to have a CARSO inspection for my newly purchased CPO car. I won’t get into the waste of time that it is for a CPO car- that’s a silky insurance issue. BUT I will talk about the friendly and efficient service at BSC. I called this morning when I learned I needed this inspection (turns out I was overdue) and they got me in within 45 minutes. Everyone was super friendly and very efficient. The process took 20 minutes and they emailed the results to my insurance company. The place was clean and the minimart, although small had a good selection of sundries. From what I saw it seems they have Full service.”
“Frank helped us out the other day when the lights on our car went on. We were passing through and the lights went on unexpectedly. Frank took the time to see us, even though he was very busy. He checked the codes and was able to determine that the vehicle was safe to drive, probable cause, and recommended the next course of action at no cost. Frank is very knowledgeable, and helpful in getting us back on the road.”

“I've had so many bad experiences with car mechanics over the years that I have come to just expect it, mostly in the form of blatant overcharging for work, recommending unneeded repairs (hello, brakes that somehow need to be replaced every year!), and sometimes just outright shoddy work. I'd become convinced that this is just the normal state of things, part of the game when owning a car. They overcharge you, you push back and work out a price that's still too high but whatever. They try selling you unneeded work, you decline, they push, you decline again, they come up with other unneeded services, you decline. Etc., etc., ad nauseum. So I've been more than a bit shocked at my experiences at Doerr's. No drama, no overcharging, no constant overselling of services, nothing. Just quiet, competent work for a fair price. You drop off the car and ask him to do an oil change? He'll do the oil change and charge you a nominal price, not 3x the going rate with an added note that you need to change your brand-new brakes because they're "wearing thin". You drop off the car for a New York inspection? He sees you need new wipers, calls to tell you so, charges you $18 per wiper - not $80 - and your car is ready for pickup. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop, but, to my perpetual amazement, it never does. It's my highest compliment, one I feel uneasy giving given how many times I've been let down by other mechanics, but- this guy is honest. He and his shop are a diamond in the rough.”
