The vets never pushed me to pay for anything that wasn’t medically necessary. They always showed compassion and care. I cannot say the same for any other vet clinics in the area and we tried most of those before coming here!”
“Doctor K is absolutely the best! He is a great person and a phenomonal vet. He is compassionate, and truly loves our furbabies. I have great confidence in him, and would always entrust him to care for my pets' well-being. Doctor K also always calls promptly, when he promises a call about a test result, and he also takes the time to email answers and advice to my concerns. He is extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful in offering solutions. Most of all, he provides a plan and next steps for all of my furbabies, which is very helpful in a multi-pet home in keeping everyone on track. I have been with Dr. K for many years, dating back to when he did acupuncture on my dog. I would highly recommend Yorktown Animal Hospital and their sister location Peekskill Animal.”

Recently, I had a kitten who ultimately was very sickly and did not make it but the vets at Sleepy Hollow handled the situation with extreme care and respect. While my kittens final care was handled by a recommended specialist, the vets at Sleepy Hollow personally called me to offer condolences, send me a card, and made a donation to Cornell University's animal science program in her honor. All of their efforts were above and beyond the level of kindness I ever anticipated and I would recommend their services to anyone who wants a vet that is doing this for the right reason.”

“Dr. Eldridge really cares about the animals. I've been to many vets and they all price gouge to the point where owners are forced to make decisions based on finances. To me those vets should not be in business. Yes, all great vets should make a great living, the money and time spent to become a veterinarian warrant that, but neither side should take advantage of the other. Be honest, pay great vets (like Dr. Eldridge) what they deserve, w/o manipulation, and any vets that read this should follow Dr. Eldridge's lead. Thank you Dr. Eldridge for having a heart and doing all that you do!”

“11/06/2025 1:30pm - 5Pm today I spent the the afternoon at the Valhalla Animal Hospital. I have been coming here for over 25 years with different cats. No matter what the services are required, whether rescuing a cat or bringing in a group of kittens, or spaying or neutering, or just routine care, I have never had any issues at this location. A few doctors have come and gone, but the service has always been top notch here — today I had the opportunity to spend the day with Ron, the veterinarian assistant and Dr Steven Yang. He has been nicknamed the cat whisperer. Today I had to bring in my Bella Cat, who is 14 years old and she has some arthritis and some dietary issues and a few bad teeth. The Valhalla animal Hospital crew was attentive, caring, patient and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them for everyday vaccinations, care that needs a little more investigative work and managing long-term care. The facility is very clean, and the parking is spacious and accessible for handicapped individuals.”

“Palmers pharmacy is a very unique place in the sense that it's service oriented. Unlike big chain companies rushing you out, at Palmers they wants to get to know their customers in order to better serve them. Interestingly this the only place around town you will find where they make up creams, animals medicine, or any special type of compound prescription (all hand made in front of you). The owner Louis is very nice, knowledgeable, and is very open to helping you out with any of your medical needs. This indeed is a very special place, and right next door to the greenwich hospital.”

“I appreciate that the Dr. Emmot was prepared and had reviewed the extensive records I had forwarded before our appointment. I also appreciated that they were on time. Dr Emmot spent an unhurried hour explaining in detail what was going on and answering patiently all my questions. Since extensive labs were required, I appreciate also the fact that I was asked if I was OK with going ahead with all of it given the price. That consideration is not common and worth noting.
I highly recommend going there.”
