Brandon (Customer Service Manager) was very patient and willing to work through an inventory issue I was having with a guitar I was attempting to purchase. He work diligently on finding a solution and even offered to work on the issue, if I wanted to leave. Ultimately, he was able to bring the issue to the GM - Dave, and although it took well over an hour for the entire issue to be resolved, they did not stop trying and eventually resolved the issue for me. I am truly appreciative and thankful and I will continue to shop here versus any other location, due to the level of service I received. Although David (sales associate) attempted to assist me immediately, I had already saw Zack providing great customer service to a couple in the acoustic room and he sounded very knowledgeable. The service I received from the sales representative Zack, was 5 stars and he was willing to demonstrate how the guitar would sound while I made my decision. He told me all of the differences between the choices I had made, but guided me in the right direction to the one I actually purchased. Thank you guitar center!! David Most importantly thank you Brandon, you have proved why you are the customer service manager! You deserve it.

I rolled the dice and tried the repair shop at the Cheektowaga Store for some fretwork. I was really taken back by the customer service, knowledge and passion the guys had for trade. My neck, fretboard and frets came back playing as good as guitars I own that cost almost twice as much. My Floyd is behaving properly, and I couldn’t be more appreciative. I will be cycling all my other LTDs through this store for maintenance and highly recommend these guys if you need work done. Thanks Joe L.

Staff here is awesome! They're great at working with you and helping figure out your needs! The store is nicely organized, well stocked, and it's easy to find what you need or just check stuff out. They helped my boyfriend get his new guitar by shipping it to the store for him, and the ordering and paperwork went so smoothly, and it came early in perfect condition! Very highly recommend for any musical purchases!

Got my first Les Paul here. Came from the factory a bit out of sorts(thought it was just a truss adjustment). Brought it home played on it a few days and knew I needed a full set up done. I was out of my comfort zone doing what it needed so brought it back and my technician, Joe, did a great job fixing her up. Guitar sounds great, and Joe was a pleasure to speak to. Ask for him if you need any services there! Dropped off on a Sunday picked up on a Tuesday!

Had an unusual initial problem with a Guild 12 string purchased through Musician's Friend. Associate went out of his way to make things right with an over the counter exchange. Loved the service AND the new Guild!

Went in to find some cables that were listed on your website as available in store. 3PM on a Friday, 2 customers in the store and 6-7 employees “working.” After looking for 15 minutes, listening to the employees shout across the store to each other about performance gigs they were, or were not, willing to take, and how many hot chicks they waited on last weekend, I left without finding the cables. Maybe they were there, maybe not, the place was a mess and the employees certainly couldn’t be bothered to ask if I needed any assistance. Won’t be back.

I had a great experience here. I came in to get my guitar restrung and it was only $25 and the repair man was lovely. He had long blonde hair and glasses and the customer service was amazing! He went above and beyond in showing me how to restring it and I couldn't have asked for a better interaction.

nobody help me, I was looking for strings and the guys are in the back I don't know what they were doing and you want 20 bucks an hour and when the guy came out there to help me with strings I could of read the package myself unbelievable, you know what I'll do everything offline that way someday maybe we don't need those piss pots sitting around doing nothing I was very disappointed nobody helped me and why do you have these people here that don't do anything at all
