Placed an order in February for some bulbs that I ended up not picking up. Assumed it would be cancelled and forgot about it. Got an email today saying thanks for picking it up, which I never did especially if I'm sitting at home. Manager was nice and refunded me but employees should verify stuff is picked up especially if they no longer have the item where it should be and actually cancel an order correctly.

I hired Home Depot to install a hexagon window. Right from the beginning there was issues with billing. On 8/8/24 they installed a window that had manufacturing issues which caused gaps between the wood pieces where the corners meet. I was told that the window shouldn't have passed inspection and shouldn't have even been brought to my house. Bryce ordered a new window, and I was told it couldn't be installed until Nov. They called a few days before install to change the date, they didn't show up on new date which caused me to lose a personal day at work. It then took Bryce a few weeks to call me back, I had to contact him that I wasn't happy with service. I was given a new date of Dec 16, the installer showed up alone and was having a hard time installing by him self. He ended up putting several nicks and a gouge in wood frame when he was pounding on window to make it fit. I again contacted Bryce for help about the damage and improper installation. Bryce stated he had to ask his supervisor if he could give me $150 gift card to make up for it. It is now March 12 2025, and after several calls to Bryce and the sales woman Jennifer there hasn't been any call backs or resolution. I am extremely disappointed and unsatisfied with their customer service and work. I would never use their services again and would suggest no one else does either.

Tool rental:
Rented a Dewalt drywall sander and shopvac to collect dust. Employee removed Hepa filters saying it works better. Maybe for him. It blew all the drywall dust out the vents and all over my house. Thanks for making 5X the work for me.

I usually come to this location often as I have lots of houses and buy materials all the time
Really hard to find people who are going to help you
The cash out counter number one and two the rudest people work there
Attention to Manager these people are not working as they supposed to work and take care of the customers. They behave rudely sometimes if you Buy lots of stuff together. they seems very bothered working there
Please change your stuff or give them training on the customer service and this is your job to make sure.
Next time i will definitely complaint at corporate.

The rental company here is terrible. They put myself and my family in danger by renting us a truck with an expired battery and low oil, tire pressure, no washer fluid, and garbage inside the truck from previous renters. The truck broke down and left us stranded for over a day, Home Depot did nothing to help us and their roadside assistance (Element) did absolutely nothing to help us. I had to fix the truck myself and replace the oil and battery while stuck in another state. The manager of the rental department didn’t seem to care at all once we brought the truck back. There was also damage to the wheel well when we rented it that they were aware of that made turning very difficult. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. Or if you do, make sure you have AAA because if you break down, they will not help you at all. When we were stranded I called the Home Depot rental department and the guy said “Well what do you want me to do about it? Its Elements issue” then when I called Element they said “It’s Home Depot’s truck and their rental service so they should be helping you.” We were reimbursed for the battery and hotel we were forced to buy from being stranded but they didn’t want to pay for the sales tax or the oil until we kept pressing. But no refund for the rental itself was issued even though the truck was unfit and unsafe for driving. The manager of a different department (Jessica) was great and the only person trying to help us when we finally returned the vehicle and she’s not even in rentals. The manager of the rental department (Herina) wasn’t sympathetic or caring at all. I would rather move using horse and buggy than to ever rent from this Home Depot again.

Staff were very helpful and directing me to the right departments and everything I needed was easily obtained cashing out was even easier great place to go for home improvement products

Not get any help. Found something on app shows limited stock, showed three attendants the item on app and ask them to help to check if they still have them. Normally they just use their "smart phone" and check. They either told me they don't know or ask me to ask someone else, or trying to tell me I am looking at the wrong store.
A lot of people here, it is totally a mess and hard to catch an attendant even to ask a simple question.

Avoid home delivery at this location.i ordered home delivery from West Seneca location and it was delivered as promised. I needed more product and decided the Cheektowaga store was closer and ordered from there. They said delivery between 6-8 pm, the roadie picked it up at 4 pm then his car was parked at Walmart when using tracking and finally texted me it will arrive by 10 pm. 6 hours and I’m 15 minutes from the store. I have a sick relative to watch and can’t leave so i used delivery…. Never again! Stay clear of the Cheektowaga Home Depot!
Update: 10 pm and no delivery, Ill update when/IF the order arrived. Now i get to stay up late to wait!
Rodie texted at 10:40 arriving soon, tracking 15 miles away! Now 11 pm no delivery!
Received order after midnight, 8 hours to deliver and order was ready for pickup 16 hour before delivery. Roadie is the worse delivery service ever and Home Depot Cheektowaga has lost this customer. Terrible
