In 2012 we had our Kitchen done and had a lot of trouble . I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. I won't go into details but the job was done sloppily. Got hardwood floors installed that are defective, electric outlets crooked, loose molding to the ceiling barely attached, wall ceramic tiles cut unevenly to name just a few things not to mention the main (so called boss of the project who wasn't here most of the time)worker and his attitude in store and at my home. Also rinsing grout tools in my kitchen sink that clogged it. $22,000.00 job and that's what the customer gets. I don't know how they are still in business.

I have had Kitchens and baths remodeled from them in a few different houses over the years as I have moved. Always a great job and reasonable prices.

I'm start my remodeling process. I walked in and no one acknowledged me. I hung around checking things out for about 20 minutes and still was never acknowledge. As an African American woman, it was disheartening. I haven't had anything like this happen to me in many years. What a shame.

Everything went wrong from the beginning. When I walked in the door the first time, the showroom was empty. After 15 minutes of standing by the front desk, 2 people eventually came out from an office and asked me in an annoyed tone what I wanted. My gut told me to walk out. I should have. But I stayed. I ended up having them design new kitchen and bathroom cabinets. The designer rarely replied to my messages, mixed me up w/ another client and did not center the sink and cabinet below the upper cabinet. Worse, the contractor they recommended, screwed up the installation, broke door pulls, did not cover floors or surroundings, so I fired him. My designer had long since deserted me and later left the company. I was left all alone. Then, after the second contractor came and finished the work, I discovered the the doors to numerous cabinets were warped or damaged, with the corner chipped. It was not the finish, the wood was chipped! I had the manager and representative out from Decora, they replaced a few things, some without charge, other's with a charge, and never followed up to see if it was satisfactory. I was told that a warped cabinet could "just be manipulated by the contractor to make it fit better". They never offered to replace the warped cabinet, and as a result, the other cabinet in that row is not aligned. I called again and a second designer came out, recognized the remaining problems and arranged to replace the 5 remaining doors/drawer fronts that were damaged, but did not address the warped cabinet and gape in the doors of the cabinet next to it. I was told to remove the products in the cabinet so they would not show in the gap! Yes, that's what I was told. The quality of the cabinets (Decora) are horrible- absolutely cheap. The service was awful: rude, dismissive, disinterested and almost incompetent.Service: Remodeling

The sales woman was not listening and very condescending towards me. When she called me “honey” in a belittling tone, I decided to leave. I have a personal new home being completely gutted and remodeled as well as a new construction Visiting Center at my other property that I’m project managing with immediate needs in the bathrooms, office, commercial kitchen, sales/bar area and general area. The property will eventually have the house turned into a bed and breakfast with major remodeling needs as well. Please don’t judge a book by its cover.

I unfortunately didn't consult any reviews before going here. It was nearby and was open later on Saturday than the other area kitchen stores. In June we went in and picked out cabinets. The pricing seemed good, we got to choose every last detail and we selected stuff we really liked. They warned us about the long wait for the cabinets we'd selected. It's COVID, everything is taking forever, we understood that we wouldn't get our cabinets for four months. Before we went to the store we talked to our contractor for tips and he mentioned being sure to ask about toe kicks (the little piece of trim that goes next to the floor) because sometimes they don't include it. They assured me that all the needed trim/finishing pieces would be included (spoiler alert: they weren't). After a month or so I called to check in for the anticipated delivery date and it was supposed to be October 13-19th. October 13th rolled around and I didn't hear anything, so I called on the 14th or 15th to see if they were still on track and they said they were. I didn't hear anything and finally on the 22nd I called and asked what was going on. They said that the cabinets were going to be delivered between the 25th-29th. Despite talking to them two or three times during the anticipated delivery window and being assured everything was on time, nobody told me about the delay until after the window had passed and I called and asked. Then, when the cabinets arrived in the store, I learned that the glass is installed by another outside entity, so the cabinets that had panes of glass in the doors would need to have the doors removed and sent out for the glass installation which would take a week or two. So, when the cabinets came to my house on October 27th I got my intact floor cabinets (minus the toe kicks) and my hanging cabinets (minus the doors). As I waited for them to unload the countertop I learned that they damaged the countertop loading it into the truck so I'd have to pick out a new countertop. Two weeks after the delivery I called to check on the doors to see if they were ready since my contractor was coming today to install the cabinets. They said that the cabinet doors had come back from the installer with the glass, but had gotten scratched up in the process so were being touched up. Again, no update until I called and asked about the holdup. I appreciate that they aren't trying to pass off damaged items to me, but at the same time, something seems to get damaged at every step of the process, leading to more delays. I picked out a new countertop, and to be sure they didn't damage this one, they had the countertop company deliver/install themselves. When the installers showed up they asked who'd measured the space for the counter, and I said nobody - Kitchen and Bath simply sent them the dimensions. They said that's not how it should be done, they should always measure, because the walls it butts up against are not perfectly square, so the countertop didn't fit perfectly. A contractor is going to have to cut out a section of wall to make the counter fit correctly now. Yesterday, 11/30 I finally got the last of the pieces I needed for my cabinets/counter. This started in June - the first four months weren't their fault, but the additional month+ of delays after delivery were frustrating and could've been better handled with better communication. The final product is very nice, but I would be wary of using them again.

Overall, this was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a company. In my opinion, they lacked both the expertise and professionalism to handle a full kitchen renovation project. My two main issues with this company were:1) Transparency - We asked many times for formal pricing but never received anything. Once, when I questioned why costs increased so much, the best response I could get was an email stating "Every little detail changes the price" and "I'm on your side trying to save you money." In the end, I was never given any formal piece of paper that actually spec'd out what we were purchasing, despite my constant requests.2) Communication - It became clear that asking questions would become an annoyance. Most communication from Sue, our sales person, came through either an email or text message which would be extremely difficult to understand as it would contain many grammatical errors and run on sentences. Any time we'd call the office we seemed to be bothering whoever we were talking to. We were always told to "trust the process."The above issues resulted in the following:- The kitchen dimensions were mismeasured by the sales person which resulted in the kitchen sink window not being centered (see picture)- She ordered the wrong end cabinet that was un-finished (see picture)- She ordered a kitchen exhaust hood and liner that was for a specific fan. In the end, we realized that she should have had us order the fan before selecting and buying the hood.- We were short on material (crown molding and filler). These errors resulted in a longer project time-line and increased costs (that we had to incur) from the installing contractor. This is what we got for putting our trust with "the experts".In addition, there was a lot of damage on the Decora cabinets we received and we found much of the wooden grain to be seeping through the paint because it was only single coated. After notifying Kitchen and Bath Unlimited, we were told that a contractor would be out to address the items and to not try to fix the issues ourselves. After waiting SIX MONTHS the contractor showed up and proceeded to paint and repair the cabinets IN A DIFFERENT PAINT COLOR!Last time I contacted the company regarding the latest issue, Sue said they were going to address it, but it's been two weeks and I am officially done waiting. We started this project a year ago! The company refuses to take on any responsibility and instead blames COVID on pretty much everything!Goes without saying, but I will never use this company again.

Ordered all new fixtures for my bathroom remodel in April and didn’t get until July.Covid delays whatever.Molding for the shower Carson arrived broken, black marble sink had scuff mark on it,vanity door had crack in it,they tried to make it right by ordering new vanity door, and shower molding.I eventually got replacement but it didn’t come until September. So now I’m in the process of trying to get the contractor I paid already to come back and finish work.Contractor is giving me run around so I’ll probably take him to small claims court.Doing business with this place has been a nightmare and I would never recommend them.Service: Remodeling

The owner, Tom had several creative ideas on how to remodel my bathroom. He had beautiful cabinets sent directly to my home located 250 miles from the store. There was one cabinet damaged in transit and he replaced it quickly without any hassle.Service: Remodeling

Stopped in without an appointment and asked if maybe I should come back after scheduling an appt. I was told it wasn’t a problem to stay. Had a young man wait on me who would disappear and I would have to go looking for him. Asked him about the warranty on a certain product. Disappeared again, I went looking for him again, and got my answer about 20 minutes after I asked. I would think a salesperson would be knowledgeable about a question like this. Stay away!

I have used this business for over 13 years and have done 8 kitchens, and 13 bathrooms. Everyone was helpful in making the decisions as to what type of cabinets and all the pros and cons to each of them. I am very pleased with every detail from start to finish.Service: Remodeling

We had been looking for a 42” vanity for several months( an odd size I know), but after looking at Home Depot, Lowe’s and several online suppliers we decided to check out Kitchen & Bath Unlimited. Although we didn’t have an appointment, we called and they said that someone might be able to help if they didn’t have a customer at the time. Jim was free and able to help us minutes after we arrived. He spent quality time trying to find a vanity and located one from a supplier in the size and color we liked. We liked his service so much we decided to purchase a bath tub and surround and he gave us the name of his top supplier so we could go and pick out a granite top. I would recommend Kitchen & Bath Unlimited to anyone.

Had a 2pm appointment with Maria on Union Road. She was plain rude and not prepared for our appointment. I was looking for bathroom cabinets and she tried to show us an outdated brochure with the door color options. I told her I couldn't tell what a cabinet door would look like from a 1/2 inch square photo in a brochure. She said she would try to find a sample in her bosses office and came back with 3 x 5 inch samples of a section of a door. We were looking to buy bathroom cabinetry and she was in no hurry to help us. We tried telling her what we currently had and she told us "I don't care about that now". After being there for only 10 minutes we were back out the door.

After quite a bit of research, we decided to work with Kitchen & Bath Unlimited for our kitchen design and cabinetry, and that was a GREAT decision. Kelly did a great job with the design and even offered to give us some of the leftover trim from her own kitchen remodel. Tom the owner worked with us to make sure our delivery went smoothly and sent one of his sales guys to make sure it did. The Decora cabinets in natural cherry are gorgeous! (thanks again for your advice, Kelly!) And when we had the inevitable surprises come up (none were KB&U's fault), they were great problem solvers and we never skipped a beat. This was truly a team effort and we highly recommend Kitchen and Bath Unlimited to anybody that's remodeling!
