Labs located at 3842 Harlem road buffalo, I showed up at 3 for drug screen as required by my new employer, a short old woman wearing glasses was so rude to me, don’t go there!

One of the worse Quest diagnostics in Western NY!! You make and appointment they don’t notify you that you are next… there are about 20 people in the lobby waiting with only two phlebotomist taking care of patients… then one of the employees starts arguing with a patient very unprofessional… IF YOU KNOW YOU WILL HAVE MANY PATIENTS AROUND THIS TIME OF THE YEAR QUEST SHOULD HAVE MORE TECHS WORKING!!! It’s not the patient’s fault that Quest is so cheap that they only have two people working while there are 20+ patients waiting to be seen… also watch who you hire that lady was a nasty piece of work… SHAME ON YOU QUEST

Absolutely unacceptable service. Had an appointment for 10:10 and when I showed up early at 10am, there were people that checked in at 9:20 still waiting to be seen. When you finally catch an employee to talk to they have the worst attitude.

Part 1-
I arrived to the Quest office at 4181 Transit Rd, Amherst, NY 14221 12 minutes late for my scheduled appointment because it was my 1st time at that location and my GPS was not working due to thunderstorms in the area! When I logged in, your screen indicated my appointment was cancelled because I arrived over 10 minutes late!!! In every location I've had appointments to on Maple your staff was 20 to 30 minutes behind schedule and I waited !!! That location's staff were very rude when I said your screen did not recognize my appointment confirmation!! And had to wait for over 45 minutes before somebody came to get me!!!
Part 2-
When I realized that I would not be seen on Transit due to the number of patients in the lobby! I then made a 2 pm appointment at the Harlem Rd location in Cheektowaga the same day and was seen almost immediately by a young lady that was very nice and did a great job for me!!

The person who took care of is wonderful, usually I’m poke three to four times even switching arms. The first time was the charm, keep her there!

I am a "tough stick" .... I don't do well with needles and my veins are not always cooperative. The phlebotomist (unfortunately, I don't remember her name) was very patient, understanding and calming and offered to use a small needle. I barely felt the stick. Her distracting methods worked very well! Usually when I get blood draws, Samantha does them and is great. The girl that did me on Friday was also very good.

Very prompt service! I thought I'd have to wait longer considering my appt was 0950 but I signed in at 0953. As soon as I sat down they called my name! Next time I will use the phone prmpt first not after I sign in on console in lobby. lol I'm not super tech savvy. Anyway, the technician drew my blood with ease and had a great manner!
