Just popped in for random things for the upcoming Holidays. I was usually get a pizza(s) for a quick dinner for my boys! Apparently, no more veggie pizzas??!?!? Just cheese!?!?! It looks like you still have a choice on meats though. I'm not a meat eater like the men in my family. Cheese is ok but as a woman who shops here frequently, this corporate decision has to have been made by a man... Dumb decision. You have all the produce in the back!!! Whoever did this needs to go back to the drawing board or be demoted. It was such an easy choice to get 1 of each, everyone is happy. Now, I'm without my own choice. $24 or more in pizzas I'd buy from you, I'll start to buy local pizzeria!

They did not have a single packet of mustard for my hot dog. How do you run out of a bulk product. That is the point of bulk!

Sam's Club has a wonderful optical department, very good selection, & good but not always great prices. The second worst thing about Sam's Club is the long wait times at the registers & to exit the store with your purchases, but the absolute WORST thing is their so-called delivery service!!! Last week I ordered delivery of some groceries & it went fine, so I reordered on Monday evening of this week, thinking I would actually get what I ordered on Tuesday afternoon between 2:00 & 4:00. Nope! When my order was running an hour or so late, Sam's Club sent me an uninformative email saying "Hi, we're running a little late with your order but it's in the works," or something to that effect. There was no estimate of the time when the order would arrive. Twenty-four hours AFTER this, i.e. Wednesday afternoon, not having heard anything, I called Sam's Club & asked what was going on. I was on the phone with them 30 minutes the first time, then was given another number to call, & spent 27 minutes on the second call. At no time did anyone say my order was on the way, not on the way, already delivered, in progress, canceled, nonexistent, or anything of the kind!!! I asked for the specifics of what was going on but no one came up with an answer. I decided to go to the club the following day with printouts of my order form & emails, & speak to the store manager in person. So I checked my bank account on Thursday morning & saw that Sam's Club had refunded my money. Sam's Club claims that the customer's account is never charged until the merchandise leaves the store. Next I saw where they had sent another email saying my order had been CHANGED (it was not me that changed anything), & some or all of my items were unavailable & would not be sent out!! These "unavailable" items included ice cream, sliced ham, sports drinks, & other things that are not exactly difficult to find in the store! I am assuming some dishonest Sam's Club employee delivered the items I had ordered, to his or her own home, & thought they would get away with charging the order to my bank card until I complained. I never did go to speak with the manager since I believe the problem has been addressed by now. It certainly should have been! At this point I am still willing to shop at Sam's Club, but only in person. I will put up with the wait times at the register & the undignified comparing of number of purchased products against the customer's receipt, which barely falls short of frisking, at the exit door. I do not trust Sam's Club to deliver anything any more!!!

DO NOT GO THERE! I am writing to express my utmost disappointment and concern regarding the deplorable customer service and discriminatory treatment that I received at your Sam Club location on 8/15/2023.On the aforementioned date, I visited your store with the expectation of being provided with excellent customer service, as I have experienced in the past. However, my experience was far from satisfactory. Not only did I encounter rude behavior from one of your employees, but I also felt discriminated against. The incident occurred at approximately 6:32 pm when I approached an employee named Amy, who was stationed at the walk-in section. She was rude and instead of providing the necessary information she did the opposite. For example, she did not ask the guy in front of me for proof of membership and (GASLIGHTING) insisted that he had shown his card. However, we knew and saw with our own eyes she did not ask him for his membership. Therefore, when shopping around I saw him and asks if she ask for his membership he states "No, she did not, that's why I looked back when she asks you guys". Furthermore, she look at us and assume that we were not from the same household. Amy responded in an extremely discriminative and disrespectful manner. What genuinely shocked me was not only the rudeness displayed by Amy and the other cashier but also the complete lack of effort to de-escalate the situation. Despite my repeated attempts to express my concerns and seek a resolution, Amy and the other worker cashier worker there continued to exhibit a rude and condescending attitude, which only heightened my frustration and disappointment. For example, laughing at the situation and making it hard for us to cash out. Mind you there were two membership holders! Moreover, during this distressing interaction, I couldn't help but notice that the supervisor said she will take action, however, all I see was no action has taken place and they hover around and keep giving us the look. This discriminatory behavior and lack of customer service are utterly unacceptable and go against the principles of equality and inclusivity that a company like Sam Club should uphold. I would like to remind you that discrimination in any form goes against not only your own company policies but also the laws that protect consumers from such indignities. Your employees should be trained and encouraged to treat all customers with respect, regardless of their background or ethnicity.

Sam's club is great - the prices, the selection and most importantly for me is the scan and go app. I love that I can scan my product, get my instant discounts and just go. I hate waiting in line, I always seem to pick the longest short line ever. Ughhhhhhh... Today, I was in and out on my timeline. Just love it with the emailed receipt.

Been a member at this location for a long time. Got some tires recently. The process is ridiculously complicated. I ordered the tires online. There is no option to pay online. When I got to the Sam's tire shop, they had me go back to Sam's to pick up the tires and pay for them in person. No barcode on the tires so I had to have an employee input the code in one by one manually. Returned to the tire shop and they called telling they forgot to add the installation fees. I had to walm back to the shop to pay for it (Mind you, they are not next to each other). The girl at the service desk gave me a whole attitude because I didn't want to upgrade to a plus member. She kept mumbling why I didn't do it to save money bla bla bla. It's very rude. The only bright side is the workers at the tire shop. I'm not sure I stay a member when Costco finally opens its location here.

I have been a BJs member for many years. A long time ago I had a Sams membership for a while but the nearest location to me isn't that convenient so I dropped my membership. There is a lot of product duplications between Sams and BJs but through the pandemic and post pandemic product shortages, often one would be unable to get the products I'm looking for but the other has the product in stock. Prices are usually about the same , I just have to drive farther to shop at Sams. One thing I like at Sams that BJs doesn't have is hot food and cold drink cafe. The hotdog and large pop deal is hard to pass up and I recently heard Sams is lowering their price for this meal deal even lower than the 2 bucks or so they were charging.I will probably maintain both of my memberships until product shortages improve.

Store is clean and workers are nice but it is always busy and understaffed as far as checkout goes. There were about half of the checkouts open and the lines went all the way to the back of the first set of aisles when we were there.

September 2022 by Gina Was Here
Horrible! I stopped in August 19, 2022 around noon to get lunch. I received an email that my tire pickup was arrive. I was so excited because it was early despite being told 7-10 business day to arrive to the store. Even better I was just finishing up and went to member services to find out where to pick up my order. I was told to go to curbside pickup. I waited 15 mins for someone to come to me. The employee couldn't find my order. I was then told to go to the tire selection. The email that was sent to me did not specify where to pick up my tires. My tires won't even on the shelf so I had to call another employee over to find it. Finally 20 mins later I got the tires the auto mechanic who found them stated "It's fresh off the plane". He said they wouldn't even tagged so he didn't understand why I was getting a pick up notice. Finally made it over to the service center and I told them to call me when finish. 10 mins later there's an issue. The mechanic took off my lug nut bc it was rusted. So I have only four left on my passenger side front tire. I was told to go to Dunn Tire or Mavis bc they couldn't remove anymore lug nuts just in case the other ones were like that too. The mechanic pointed to the wall said he didn't have the equipment needed to remove my lug nuts. I took my car to a place I used before instead of their suggestions. That place I used was ridiculous as well. Told the owner I had size 19 tires. He told me 80 bucks and then comes out to put them on tells me that they're 19 and then change the price to $120 because I paid with a debit card was charged an extra $10 for tax so it came out to $131.50 to install my tires!!! Anyways I also waited over 15 mins at Member Services to get a $47 refund (I'm a Plus member) for the service I couldn't use. The employee kept asking if I wanted a full refund. No I still needed the tires which she wasn't understanding. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. To fix my lug nut I have to pay an additional $80! Last straw with Sam's Club as soon as Costco opens I'm gone!!!

I went to Sam’s in Niagara Falls to buy the rumba , they were out and the instant rebate was gojng to be available for 1 more day .the store looked up & said Cheektowaga store has 21 left in stock .so drove their Wednesday ,got the 2 boxes ,pd n waited for someone to get them out of the cage . It was an HOUR ordeal and I did Not get any . i was told they we’re looking for them ,then was told they were out of stock & I should have called ,since it’s not accurate . Then he had a second set of eyes check & was told they don’t have any , askedwhy the empty boxes were there then to purchase . Was told they are for display models , but 12 boxes . Went to customer service , she was the only helpful person , they were in stock , after a. FEw call she got a manager , comes to find out - someone broke the key off in the lick of the cage . They couldn’t unlock it and the higher manager wasn’t in yet - they Wouldn’t ship them to me for free Unless I had the plus card . i wasted An hr after I pd for them , with No resolution . We had a membership at Sam's Club years ago but gave it up since there was a BJs so close to our house. Well recently I found a deal to get a membership for a year for $15 (regularly $45 I think) with a $10 gift card. So. Why not. We decided to check it out. Actually did some research first to see the difference in prices. We found a pretty good split, with BJs having a slight edge, on the normal things we buy. I'm sure this would be a bit different for everyone depending on what products you want. Bottom line, you need to know prices before shopping. So off to Sam's we went! I always find it fun exploring a new store and did do on this visit. We ended up buying a ton of stuff, some on our list and a lot not. I'm a sucker for samples and since stores are back to doing samples I ended up with additional items I didn't know I wanted. Checkout went smooth. Only think I don't like is your cart and receipt being examined at the door. Always makes me feel like some kind of criminal. I guess for atleast the next year we'll be making occasional visits to Sam's. 2022-43

Absolutely terrible experience. Made a purchase. Came back to pick it up. Couldn’t locate it, waited over an hour an a half to receive the product. Associates were friendly and courteous. But entirely too long, disorganized. Should never take 90 minutes to pick up an order you already purchased.
