We used this service to move - the guys moved our entire house as it was cold and snowing… with an impending blizzard coming. The move wasn’t easy either - both places have narrow stairs.
They wrapped the furniture well and worked together fast. They were also kind and communicative. We appreciated their hard work! Make sure to tip your movers and read the prep sheets - they will appreciate it.

The whole process went smoothly, right from Nadia from the office, walking me thru the entire process, to the excellent movers we had, John and Davon.
The movers explained everything up front and were very professional and respectful of the items moved and the surrounding areas. They worked great as a team and wrapped up all items before moving them. They were also respectful of my request to not drive the truck on the driveway, as we just had new concrete put in.
I would highly recommend this company and you should be considered lucky, if you get John and Davon as your moving team.
Thank you to everyone at the Two Men and a Truck company for making the stressful time of moving items out of my recently deceased mother, as stress free as possible.

yes the men did the job and my items were moved .... however they didn't seem to care about being careful. Several drywall scratches/holes at both locations and they never mentioned it, said anything about it, just went on line nothing happened. Even worse is they stunk of marijuana. I get it, it's legal, but you shouldn't be driving a moving truck after lighting up. Both locations stunk of week after they left. Lastly, when they quote you time, they fail to mention they charge drive time from the office and back to the office. When the move took 2.5 hours they charged over 4 due to commuting to and from the office...who's to say they came right to my house and didn't stop for coffee or anything else on my dime.

Several of our dressers were broken, my islas wheel ripped off, and I am misisng the middle part of my bed fram that holds the mattress. See the photos of the damage, including an antique which they slide across my floors on its top. Smashing it. Mind you they do not make these in the United States and it belonged to my grandfather's grandfather. The only thi g their supervisor could tell me was they would repair it and he understood my frustration. CLEARLY he did not. One of the gentleman started to argue with me and I had to tell him to get out of my home. He sat there and argued after dating my property with zero remorse of disregard of what he did. Had he not been in a rush, he would of seen the correct way to bring in a dresser. Another dresser was smashed (it was my sons).they said was broken. None of my furniture was broken prior to this move. They also smashed the knob off another one. My bed, they still have the middle metal part to my bed frame itself. You can see I the photo on the headboard screws where part of the metal piece is missing. It goes on both sides acrewed into the headboard. We thrn place the metal ontop of it. We haven't been able to sleep on the bed since the move.due to part of the frame missing. When the main crew member called his boss they told us it would take 96 hours to call us.In the meantime our bed is missing pieces. I am missing a kitchen island all of my dressers. While they did their move into the house they broke the wooden porch. We noticed it after they left with the furniture they broke. For what we were charged for moving is nothing compared to the cost of damages they did to all the furniture. My porch and missing part of bed frame itself. Shame on the company to want customers to wait days to rectify or discuss a claim when their employees damage the items they moved and a home owners property!

I'm copying this over from other places I've written a review as it's fairly lengthy. If you want most of your stuff that's supposed to be moved delivered with most of it unbroken, this is your company I guess. We went with them because of the supposed good reviews but we honestly can't recommend them. The pros: folks were friendly and the crew was fast. The cons: Damaged walls at our old home. Damaged furniture (one item is being repaired by them as of writing this review). Yes, you sign a liability waiver for any particle wood stuff but it still was an inordinated amount damaged. We advised a fridge was being moved but nobody mentioned they won't touch a Samsung fridge with smart screen. This resulted in us having to leave a $2k fridge as there was no time to find alternate options to move it. Also, nobody mentioned they wouldn't touch mounted TVs. If I could unmount it myself I would have. So yet something else we were left scrambling to find alternate arrangements. A number of items were forgotten and/or left, with a response of "well that's unfortunate". Yes, we were at 75% of a truck estimated and they have you sign a waiver at 70% or have another truck but I had moved a good number of things myself that were in that estimate to alleviate that issue and I still had to move a good amount of furniture because it was left/forgotten. If you are elderly, disabled or just unable to do a lot of moving furniture yourself, you definitely should not go with Two Men and a Truck. Also, if you're on a time crunch with no time to make alternate arrangements when things are left, forgotten, etc. Yes it's hard work, I should know cause I had to do a ton myself. Not sure why I paid almost $2k for movers.Edit: So, I'm following up on my review after a month of working with this company after the fact. First off, I will say that Bryant genuinely seemed to try and make things right. He worked with me to compensate on some of the damaged items. Also, after reviewing the calls, it was mentioned that I'd need to unmount the TVs, so that is fully on me. However, once things were passed along to Randy to handle, it seemed more along the lines of shift blame to me and get me out of their hair. One item that the movers had broke was a night stand. They took it to repair and returned it a month later with the leg repaired but with more damage to it. When I brought this up with Randy, it was "well, we left it on your porch like you wanted and it was out of our possession for 12 hours and it looks like it's in its final position, sooooo nothing I can do about the damage cause it left here in good condition." When I asked if they had pictures of how it looked when it left, the response was "didn't need any". Now, mind you, the porch is covered, it was brought in with nobody else touching it until I unwrapped it and saw the damage. Not to mention, I don't really have a reason to damage my own things any more than this company has. You can look at the pics and judge for yourself as it looks to me like the nightstand was placed and moved upside-down and damaged more while they were attempting to fix the leg. To cap things off, after multiple attempts to get an answer about doing anything about the fridge I had to leave behind, Randy's response was again "We don't dissemble smart fridges. They're specialty items and it's not something we would have moved in the first place." Yes, that's the problem. It's fine if you don't move them BUT nobody disclosed this! I would have been able to make alternate arrangements if it was disclosed up front, not day of with the movers there and us having to be out of the house that day. I can not stress enough to stay away from this company. Unless you're looking for a demolition crew. Then give em a try.

This company "helped" my mother move yesterday and now she's left with a crumbled pile of broken belongings that a lot of cannot be replaced. The men that came to move her items were careless, reckless, and downright disrespectful with all of her things, including numerous boxes clearly marked 'BREAKABLE' with many sentimental items in them. They stacked boxes upon boxes (4, 5 high) on top of each other onto a dolly and BOUNCED them down the stairs, breaking the contents of what was inside. I understand stacking boxes to be more efficient, but if you can't control the load you're carrying so that things don't break, perhaps it's too much?? A huge piece of wood from her solid wood dresser was also broken off which, when confronted, they claimed was like that when they got there, but she found the missing piece that broke off while they were moving it. They also brought numerous boxes down to her storage closet, as requested, but upon further inspection they haphazardly threw all the boxes into the closet in no order whatsoever with items falling out of boxes, others getting crushed, and the boxes were stacked above my mom's head to the point where she had to go in and rearrange them herself after their "work" was done. If you're paying a moving company hundreds of dollars to get your items from one destination to another, shouldn't you be able to at least trust that your items will be safe and you won't have to go back and do their job for them afterwards? My mother is 55 and has a horrible back, and she works close to 12 hours a day... she doesn't have the body or the time to be cleaning up after this company that she PAID for.

UPDATE: Finally heard back from a manager, Brian, who was accusatory and rude. He said he planned to offer $160 for all the issues but decided not to because of this review. Said I was trying a "money grab" because I didn't call with issues in the middle of the move, instead calling the second they opened the next day.I've used professional movers half a dozen times in my life for major moves and Two Men and a Truck was that worst experience I've ever had by a country mile. The workers themselves were friendly and seemed to be doing their best, but they were just obviously very inexperienced. In short, I hired them for a local move, had innumerable problems, tried to contact them to resolve the issue and they never even responded to phone calls, emails, or voicemails. It was so bad, I started taking notes of the issues. I will copy and paste those here.- Broke storm door actuator.- Scratched bookcase, table, washer, dryer, floor in bedroom, and plaster in hallway.- Scratched leather chairs- Lost foot for couch and stripped bolts on two more.- Incredibly slow, longer than maximum estimate even with no boxing and more than half the boxes included in the estimate I personally transported the day before. The time to wrap a single item was longer than I've seen other movers wrap and pack all furniture in the entire house.- Scratched front door and damaged molding.- Slammed back door into plaster in hallway damaging it.- Unable to disassemble bed frame and still in house.- Left many items without alerting or asking, despite specifically asking to be called, including dresser, all standing lamps, kitchen cart, dehumidifier, all dress shoes, all ties, comforter pillows and linens, office rug, and scuba equipment.- Took ACs but left all windows open.- When I called to check in they had already left and were out getting lunch.- Truck broke down blocking neighbors driveway for hours.Do yourself a favor and hire literally any other company. Avoid Two Men and a Truck at all costs. Expensive. Unresponsive. Unprofessional.

Great customer service?Problem was after the rep marked down around 20 items of which were either taken apart for easy carry or stowed in a easier area for easy carry all of which was 1st floor & not even 10 miles one way I get told over $1,400 AND a mandatory 4 guys vs 2 AND a minimal of 5 hours each!? I can understand $60 an hour per guy but 5 hours minimal plus 4 guys to move 20 items? I wonder how many customers you lose a day like me? I'm sure y'all do great work but think about customers moving who had to pay rent plus security then you. Luckily a friend volunteered to help us.

Absolutely outstanding customer service and personalities. The boss is extremely hands on and stopped by to check in. I was moved by two amazing gentlemen, Alfonso Jr and Alfonso Sr. The father and son duo worked so efficiently and with very positive attitudes. Took amazing care of our items, well wrapped, took any changes in stride, and were amazingly quick! A delight to talk to and work with. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!! Request the Alfonsos, and you'll be taken well care of, and have a fun start to your move.

Really could not be happier with the service they provided! Alphonse (don't know if I'm spelling that correctly) and his team were AMAZING--they came in under budget on a move from a 3 bedroom to a 2 bedroom, but even if they hadn't, it would have been worth every penny. They were meticulous about my things, informed me every step of the way, and I had a great experience with them and their office staff from first requesting an a quote until the last box was delivered. I will absolutely use them on future moves and have already recommended them to friends and coworkers.

I kind of feel bad having to write this review because all of the workers were very friendly and this move was hard work. That being said, I paid over four grand and don't believe I got four grand worth of service.1) multiple items damaged/broke including a table, a dresser, a desk, an entertainment center amd a grill cover.2) damage done to property, both new house and old apartment.3) I was ignored when saying which items could fit out which doors causing time to be wasted on failed attempts to move furniture.4) despite giving a comprehensive list of items that needed to be moved, not everything could be fit in the two trucks.5) I watched multiple boxes be handled pretty roughly. I have not had a chance to unpack those boxes yet so I can only hope the contents are undamaged. They were able to get (most of) two separate households moved to a new house in a single day, which was why I picked this company. This was a long day and a hard move. But I still expect my belongings to arrive undamaged especially for what I paid.

They sent 6 guys to move three apartments in one day! We were flooded out and they had to work with damaged furniture. Everyone was kind, professional and caring. They made sure things were moved and stayed clean. Wrapped furniture to keep in safe. Had to go up three flights of stairs and no damage to walls. Tenants that were elderly, got extra care, during this stressful time. Worth every penny!

We hired your local franchise because they gave us what seemed like the best quote and assurance our move would go smooth and stress free. Nothing could be further from the truth. When I am paying an hourly rate I expect work to be done for a full 60 minutes in each hour, I am not saying the workers don't need a 10 to 15 minute break every couple hours. The crew I had either took 20 minute breaks each hour or argued with each other about how to carry, load and secure items. Additionally, two of the workers couldn't understand English which presented a problem when I was directing them where I wanted items placed at the new residence. At the house we moved from they pretty much destroyed the carpet in the basement by dragging heavy items and snagging the fibers. After they left the house we moved out of we discovered numerous items they had left behind. When I informed them of this they tried to make it sound like it was my fault. When we submitted the list of items to move I was very specific and detailed on what was to be moved. They finally agreed to go back and get the items left behind and that time should NOT have been charged to me which it was. Once at the new residence Items that had been covered with plastic were just left for us to uncover. They had disassembled some shelves and when they were placed in the new residence they were just left for us to put back together. A family heirloom wood bench was gouged and appears to be beyond repair. Numerous times the workers would not ask me where many items were to be placed in the house. Once I discovered this and asked them if they could put it where we wanted these items to go they would get an attitude. Then they just started piling everything off the truck into the garage and basically ignored us. The final price was presented to me by the mover that was in charge and he needed to call the office to run the credit card. The gentleman at the office increased the price by $100! The price was $400 over the quote and to be honest I wouldn't have an issue with that if they worked the entire 8 hours and had not left many items behind.UPDATE! The local manager contacted me and has gone well above good customer service. He has followed up with me a few times since our move and has made things right.

I’m so grateful that we chose two men and a truck for our move! I spoke with Chloe on the phone for my estimate and she was so personable and helpful. When I needed to make changes to my inventory it was quick and easy. On the day of our move, we worked with Marshay, Andre, and Cameron. Each mover was very friendly and took the extra time to protect all of our fragile furniture items! I was amazed at how quickly and easily they moved all of our furniture between locations. Overall we were very satisfied and grateful that our movers took a huge weight off of our shoulders! I would highly recommend this moving company.
