I own a property in the country that uses noco propane services. My first tenant for the property ran the propane until it was empty so we needed a refill and with the refill noco ran tests to see if there was a leak without closing the end of the gas lines or communicating with me that someone needed to be there for someone to close the gas lines since the propane tanks are outside. They said there was a leak. They locked my propane tanks. When I asked them to unlock them so I could personally tests the pipes they said no. I then had to have someone come test the line for $500 just for them to turn around and tell me their wasn’t a leak. They said noco didn’t do the test right and should have shut the valves at the end. I called noco and asked them if they could compensate my bill with a credit of the amount of the costs that was bestowed upon me because of their mistake and miscommunication. They would do nothing and said they’re sorry we made a mistake but we can’t compensate you back. Admitting they could have communicated better but still wouldn’t make up for it. They also took the tank to the property when i purchased it without communicating with the new owner. They just came and took it and rutted up my yard and then when I called to have them bring it back they charged me an installation fee for it. I admit customer service over the phone was good. All smiles but their professionalism when a problem arises and lack of communication with customers was horrendous. It gave off I will smile in your face but laugh behind your back mentality. Unfortunately they are the only gas provider in the area so I will be working on moving my property to a more electrical appliances, like electric heaters for my home because Steuben Electrical is awesome.

Noco is horrible!!! They charge more than anyplace else, and they go out of there way to make sure people who get heap run out so they can charge for leak test!! Go anywhere else!!!

Apparently i didnt use enough propane so they made up a new fee? $170 tank rental fee that I’ve never heard of or had to pay ever before. They didn’t even call, the just sent a truck and three dudes to come steal my tank which is nearly full? Luckily i was home and they extorted me for $170 to leave my tank here. Woulda been a huge issue if i came home and the tank was gone. Will be switching to a different company. These guys are a joke. I’ll gladly pay a fee if it’s a real thing that they have always done or even called to tell me about a policy change. Wish i could go zero stars.

Our Noco tank was put in today and the installers were great except they placed the old tank on top of a flower garden in the middle of a turn around driveway. The dump spot should have been talked about and specifically picked out so that our property was respected. When I went in with pictures of my trampled flower garden ( you can see the dried flowers in the snow) it was clear that management could not have cared less. I was only wanting some acknowledgement of something I cared about that was damaged whether they could tell it was flowers or not. The point is the didn't know because they didn't ask where to put the old tank and that's the problem. Not impressed.

Noco is a great company! They care for there customers and there employees all the same. They make sure there customers don't go with out and make sure there employees are also taken care of by treating them as part of the family! Management couldn't be better!
