Amazing location to shop for local, handcrafted and artisan gifts!! The staff is always so cordial and helpful; Dale and family have owned the business for forever so you know you're money is staying in the community. Really can't reccomend this place enough for local shopping!!

This stop is an absolute must if you are traveling down route 20! It’s a super interesting gift shop full of an eclectic assortment of Native American inspired items (including an impressive collection of moccasins, jewelry, and nature themed goods), locally made artisan offerings (soaps, clothing, and home decor), and a delicious collection of their own salsas, sauces, and jams! We make it a point to stop here any time we are passing through. The owners are an absolute delight to chat with and are always available to answer any questions you may have about the store or the surrounding area. There’s a little bit of everything for everyone and I always find fun, unique gifts for people and plenty to pick up for myself as well, all within the walls of a giant Teepee! Don’t forget to gaze out from the parking area at the most beautiful view, spanning for miles over hills, fields, and mountains. You don’t want to miss this amazing experience!

This place was the gaudiest yet most awesomest place you could stop at. Can't wait to try out the homemade jams and salsa we bought from there.Update: The fig preserves were awesome and the ghost pepper salsa was excellent.

This is truly a hidden gem! Has a very Route 66 vibe and the woman who runs it with her sister is really nice and helpful (and not at all pushy or on top of you while you browse). I can't believe the volume of items in this shop! So many cool knickknacks and fun souvenirs. Highly recommend!

What a cute little place to stop. Decided to take a more scenic route on our way to Long Island and added this quick stop on the way. I have driven by before when it was closed so happy that we were traveling at the right time to catch it open. The first thing other then the giant tepee of course that caught my eye was the view, wow they are sitting in the most perfect spot to see miles of picturesque valleys and mountain ranges. Next you enter the giant tepee and are immediately welcomed by a friend lady that was tending the shop. She was so sweet and very helpful, she walked around and made sure all the customers were helped and even stopped to have nice conversations with some of them. The shop is full of different souvenirs, clothes, jewelry, shoes, sauces and jams, and so much more. There was a lot to look at and something for everyone's price range from very inexpensive to more luxury items stored in locked cases. I bought some bourbon bbq sauce, a tree of life shirt, and souvenirs The Tepee pin. This is only a souvenir-gift shop there is nothing else to do here other then take in the amazing view and get fun selfies with the giant tepee so keep that in mind. It is a small shop as well, I do not think they offer public restrooms other then the port-a-potty I saw on the property. I have also read they offer food, I did see a trailer next to the tepee that I assume is the food but it did not look open at the time we stopped, we did not stop for food so did not ask if the food was available so I can't make any comments about that. The shop does offer a ton of pamphlets for attractions, restaurants, and other things to do in NY, and they seem very informative so it would be the perfect place to stop for advice on what other cool things there are to do in NY other then visiting the amazing Tepee.

Always THE best! Have loved this place since childhood & I just turned 70 today. . . have continued to visit almost every year even after moving to South Florida in 2005! There's no place like The Tepee, it's a destination & a landmark!
