Nice facility and well-kept fields, but the experience was disappointing. All weekend they redid foul lines and batter’s boxes between games—except for the championship. Even worse, girls’ softball at THE ROCK has a 1:15 time limit, including championship games, while baseball gets 1:45 per game and no limit for championships.
Let me be clear . This is a very nice place to play a tournament. That being said after participating in nearly 80 tournaments across five states, I’ve never seen a title game on a clock. Have you?
There wasnt even another game being played after.
The boys aren’t treated like that.
The girls deserved better.

Had a great experience with my first-time baseball cap. The instructors knew what they were doing, and I saw my son progress from the start as well as other on his team. I would recommend nad plan on continuing training here

Spectator seating is practically non-existent unless you want to climb a mountain. When sitting on the mountain players look like ants and there are areas of the field you cant see because of the dugout. Concession prices are ridiculous!

Travel team is a disaster. First year on the team. Coach Ray is rude to the players and the parents. Does not communicate. He plays favorites and does not give all the kids play time. The players he does play are not strong and he seems to be very clear who he does not like. Told several of the kids he would give them money back and they should quit. We were told they focused on development and not trophies. Games are lost by mercies. Does not keep a book and is always asking the opposing team what the score is. Such a disgrace especially for a facility that has such an amazing location and training program.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this one is well deserved. My son’s first experience with baseball through our town’s little league was honestly rough — he dreaded going, wouldn’t leave my side during games, and couldn’t wait to go home. We were hesitant to try again, but we signed him up for the born to play camps, and I’m so glad we did.
Coach Ray has completely changed my son’s relationship with baseball. Not only does Danny now love playing, but he also looks forward to camp each day and has made real friendships with the other boys. Coach Ray is patient, fun, and incredibly encouraging — exactly what kids this age need. He focuses on building skills in a way that’s low pressure, confidence-boosting, and most of all, enjoyable.
You can tell Coach Ray genuinely loves what he does and has a real gift for working with kids. His camps have been such a positive, affirming experience — we’re so grateful for the way he’s helped our son fall in love with the game.
Highly recommend!

With a record of 1-14, it’s clear the girls 14U team needs new coaches. I’m sure the parents of these girls are not happy with the money they spend for training, to play I such few tournaments and to have such disastrous results.

Highly recommend Frozen Ropes for baseball training, coaching, development and camps. The coaches and staff are skilled, enthusiastic and encouraging to the kids. They have created an environment that makes everyone feel welcome. They learn each child’s needs and will tailor the training to develop the child’s weaknesses into strengths. My son has attended classes, private lessons, camps & even plays on their travel team now. Anytime he has a day off from school, he chooses Frozen Ropes to get additional training and development. You can’t ask for a better facility, program or coaches. I highly recommend if your child loves baseball or softball, check out Frozen Ropes today. They also have some amazing partnership opportunities for your Little League Communities. They offer programs for the Little Leagues for training, development and evaluations. Frozen Ropes is nothing short of an amazing.

Over many years of training at Frozen Ropes Tony, Mike and Miceala have given our children the tools to play at a high level of competitiveness. The support that has been given has enabled our athletes to practice their craft and set the bar high for themselves. We are grateful to everyone who has developed a relationship with our children and helped them develop into strong, preserving athletes.

Frozen Ropes is the place to train whether your son or daughter is a beginner learning the fundamentals of the game, or an experienced athlete looking for stand-out instruction to take them from average to college bound. Teaching goes beyond physical drills with emphasis on increasing players’ mental strength during practice and game time. Knowledgeable and friendly softball and baseball coaches for all age groups!

Went to Frozen Ropes NYC on a whim this past spring after my son struggled at his high school tryout. The facility was awesome and was close to major airports. The education we received transformed both of our lives. It has been a fantastic investment in my sons journey in baseball.
