I know it seems there's a DG on every corner but in a small town like we live in it is very nice to be able to go and get just about anything. I needed some pots to plant some herbs and the local hardware didn't really have anything. I was so happy to find at least a hundred pots in our little DG and I didn't have to drive 25 miles to get one. Shout out to Chestertown NY Dollar General for having anything this small town may need!!

I've been there once. I bought double A and triple A batteries. They were 30% MORE then the dollar store in warrensburg. I wish they had put in a Popeye's fried chicken instead. :)

A friend of my uncle who is now dead said that in the 1830s they used to have gambling, dog fights, and all kinds of crazy stuff out back at Dollar General. Even a still. We missed out on some crazy stuff.I thought I would pass it along.
