This shop is convenient to rout 8 and I 87. It is always busy. Great for all sorts of things, gas, snacks, ice cream, etc.

Always considered Stewart's Ice Cream among the best tasting in the Adirondack's , Very sad to learn they have discontinued most of their flavors in 1/2 gallon size , a real loss for us locals,.

They said they were open on google maps but when I arrived the store was locked with the lights on all I wanted was to use the rest rooms but the workers told me I couldn’t even tho it said they were open

This is the Best Stewart's gas and food shop in Chestertown.Gas is pretty inexpensive. All the food is on sale. Great deals on ice cream, hot dogs, soda, egg nog, beers and pantry foods. There are about 8-10 pumps up front with plenty of space for cars towing boats, jet skis and winter sport equipment like skidoos and skis. The Stewart's staff was pretty amiable and helpful. Even the long lines were no big deal as people were friendly, even talking to strangers and tourists! It is a very large Stewarts with all sorts of isles for anything your household or travel plans could require. Visitors were purchasing ice creams, racks of beer, cigarettes, soda, lottery and food. Great place to stop in and stock up.Stewart's Shops are the clean and efficient and friendly place to be in New York.Review: 5

Price gouging on gas, as with ALL Stewart's lately. 2.76!! Won't be back again.
