About Pack Demonstration Forest

Pack Demonstration Forest offers beautiful, dark trails under a fairly dense canopy. It is a great place for an easy hike to enjoy nature, with a lovely winding stream, lots of trees, and wide flat sections. Visitors can find a very old tree, over 300 years old, and see lots of natural mushrooms. There are educational signs, lakes, ponds, and mountain views from the higher trail. The forest provides quiet, peaceful time and is good for foraging plants and moss. Some trail areas can be muddy or have obstacles, and the access road is bumpy. A few spots may be challenging for strollers, but it remains a lovely and breathtaking destination.

    I've lived here for 6 years and this was my first time going to PAC forest , a great.place to forage micro plants and moss for my terrariums.
