Buyers beware, this business is now being operated as Clayton Home of Chittenango. Same employees and management, different name. Dennis Montroy still hasn’t addressed the structural connections missed on my house. Hopefully any buyers have a home inspection done. Glad I didn’t listen to Dennis call my inspector a scammer, otherwise I’d be living in an unsafe home!

Worst experience ever.. would not recommend.. Dennis montroy (owner) showed up to see our complaints during construction.. was rude, aggressive and had no remorse. Walk-in master shower tile grout was cracked from transport was told had to be fixed by manufacturer and then his workers showed up the next day and regrouted the cracks and voided our factory warranty (more issues with shower like loose tiles etc.) And was basically told oh well by dennis.. broken shingles, holes in exterior walls .. list could go on.. still dealing with it

LoL I see nothing has changed from his father owning the company to his kids taking it over. I bought our double wide in 2008 and had nothing but problems since day one. But just ask them, it's never their fault for anything. All you!! But here we are years later and we had to have our home removed because it was unsafe...yup run run run.

Poor communication, poor follow through, unprofessional employees. Finish work was horrendous and no one from the company ever even cared to do a final walk through to see how bad it was or acknowledge my complaints about it. Won’t return calls now.

Rented a dumpster and they ruined my driveway. I’m looking forward to hearing from the owner of the company.

I’ve tried to stop here to look at homes a couple of times within their posted hours, they’re never open. Website says they’re open until 5, they close at 4. No one answers the phone when they are open. I can’t imagine trying to actually buy or have a home installed. I’ll try someone more reputable!

They have terrible customer service skills & you can’t even get a hold of anyone for voided checks they keep voiding for lot rent for no explanation and when my husband and i try and get a hold of someone or even leave a message nobody will even reach back out to us or even when we call no answer. Please be a little more professional if you want your’e rent because that’s ridiculous!

My husband and I bought our home from Dave's, we were referred to them and will never refer anyone. The experience was horrible, between picking out siding and flooring had to repick this twice as it always changed the stuff we picked out wasn't available. We first started off with Dan back in 2021 Then in July or August we found out that Dan wasn't there and Caitlin was there. We had no clue that this had happened till I called and emailed. I had to make a visit to Dave's office to finish and redo the paperwork that was done with Dan because it was no where to be found. Never got a phone call from Caitlin letting us know. The house wasn't delivered till November, after we were promised it would be here in August. Months later in January we got to move in after multiple calls and emails to get the work finished of house set up. The inside took months to finish along with the outside. I had to go over with the contractor multiple times of what needed to be done. They couldn't get anyone to come back and do the siding as their other contractor quit on them. I understand why. Our driveway needed to be extended for them to deliver, the owner tore out our well line and took forever for them to respond to fix it. We had our driveway extended for delivery the owner did come and do that but was suppose to come back and take it back out and he never did that had to do it ourselves before we got fined. They have the worst customer service, they don't go over anything with you, and every time you contact them for something Caitlin is either not available or on vacation. We are still missing a few door stops, and the inside work that was done is horrible and they won't fix it without charging hourly for it. I will never recommend or have anyone go to them to buy a home. Good luck if you use them it's more than complicated.

Very eager to help. However, process was grueling. We bought our home in March, didn't receive it until end of October and couldn't move in until after Thanksgiving! Now as we understand, it is a process. However, the run around in between was horrific. No one seemed to know what the others were doing. Once we moved in and settled, all the noticeable "wrongs" were unbelievable. Four months later, most of the wrongs have been fixed. Another thing was the manufacturer made at least two mistakes from what we requested! We'll live with it!! The mortgage company is another "OMG" experience ?2st mortgage is horrendous.

My wife and I bought our home from Dave's, because we were referred to them. The experience was frustrating. We first started off with Dan back in April 2022. Then in June/July we found out that Caitlin was taken over for Dan. We had no clue that this had happened till we made a visit to Dave's office. Never got a phone call from Caitlin letting us know. The house wasn't delivered till November. The house was damaged in multiple places. I notified Caitlin of the damages and they have been taking care of at a very slow pace. We still have one corner of the house damaged right now. The steps were built wrong but corrected about a week later. Then for the whole month of December, Roy the contractor took off for a vacation and no one knew he was gone and the work on the house came to a complete halt. After about 2 months of no work, the work on the house started back up and got completed. I did a little walk through with my wife and found that the hot water heater panel, a piece of modeling in one the back bedrooms and master closet was coming off. I sent pictures to Caitlin and had no response to these issues and the paneling and modeling are still not fixed to this day. I highly recommend if you are in the market to buy a manufacturer home go somewhere else. The whole process with Dave's Manufacturing Home's was just so aggravating. We were told so many times that something was done and it wasn't. There were times that I personally wanted to stop the process and just forget about it. I read some of the reviews on google and saw what some people wrote and I have experienced some of those exact same problems. I'm telling you read reviews before you make your final decision to buy from Dave's.

When I purchased my double wide in 2007 Dave’s Mobile Homes was a good place but after Dave passed away it went downhill from there he use to have a store where you could buy all things for Mobile Homes but now they don’t even have that because I went over there a couple a years after he had passed away and went in and it was pretty bare and the girl that was there told me that they were not going to keep up with the store anymore and now you can’t even get them to do the services they use to do.

Was considering buying from this company until I read this last review from Brian. Doesn't sound like they care much about customer service.

very poor workmanship, sever line became disconnected. electric service was 25 feet too short of line National Grid could not connect power. water service was too big added 1 inch service when I had 5/8 charged three times the amount from water company. They used left overs instead of putting in the proper water service, really did not know what they were doing. I did not need a 1 inch water service when I had 5/8 and plenty of water volume. Did not put the right vents in the foundation, were not up to state code. Siding back of house still buckled never repaired right.
