I like the staff at the post office; they are friendly and efficient. I have not, however, had good luck with my local carrier. Several packages have been misdelivered over the past 1 to 1 1/2 years. On the latest package, the receiver had the decency to mark "Wrong Person" on the label, and it was delivered properly today. Another item turned up at our Salvation Army store, and I was able to buy it back. Other items - typically more expensive - are tracked as "delivered" but simply don't turn up. I've lost a few hundred dollars overall due to the carrier's carelessness.

Change the sign on the door. It says you close at 5pm, not 3. Now I wasted gas for nothing. Thanks a lot :/

Staff at office are fantastic and friendly but the woman who delivers to my apartment building wont deliver packages and puts everyone's mail in the wrong boxes.

Why is the Chittenango NY post office closed from 1-2. This is the best time for all of us that work to run to p.o to do our daily business. I suggest they split up and have 1person at thefront desk all day till 5. This is very inconvenient. I just left there 6 people wanting to just ask a question or do business. Please look into this and I would expect an answer. Thank you

Slooooooow... only one window open...10 people in line complaining about service. No fault to employee when 4 people in back gossiping ...just like any other Federal agency...a joke.

This isn't for all staff, just the person that delivers for my house. The staff at the Post Office itself are very friendly and help me whenever I am there. The problem with the delivery person is that they won't deliver packages that won't fit into my mailbox. And sometimes they "make" packages fit by forcing them in, sometimes damaging the contents. Rather than walking the 20 feet to my door and dropping the package off they decide to not deliver it at all, so I have to drive into town to pick it up. They are paid to do a job that they don't do. UPS and FedEx seem to be able to drop off.
