Michelle cut layers in my hair and did a wonderful job. She clearly has lots of experience. My only complaint is that she didn't blend the ends of my hair so it looked very thick and choppy. I had to go home and fix it with my blending shears. Otherwise great experience.

I purchased an Oster 76 at the cicero store, on August 28th ,1st time I ever shopped in this store .It wasn't until the next day that I looked everything over and took it out of the box.It was in used condition, had hair all inside it and under the blade .The handle looked dirty ,and there was brown oil dried inside blade cover.I then called the store the assistant Manager Carey picked up .Not once did she apologize for my situitation.I then drove to the store a 2nd time when I arrived she acted like she wasn't happy to see me and acted like it was an inconvenience to her and huffed under her breath .she never asked me if i had the original cards used for payment of item.i told her I wanted a full refund and wasn't happy with my purchase. She had to call corporate and ask them what she should do .I'm like you sold me a used dirty item that's not my fault.You don't look over your items when they are returned. So unprofessional. She then attempted to go through with the return but refunded part of the refund to a visa gift card that was a 1 time use throw away card. Which I no longer had and got thrown away in store the day before.Then she refunded the remainder to there sally beauty gift card.i told her I will never shop in this store again.She said good.Good ,Wow and she's the assistant manager of this store .That says alot about her character. All this hassle and when I called corporate and customer service all they would do is offer me a 20 percent off coupon. Didn't want to offer me the money back I lost on the gift card which was $50.00.This is not good customer service. Buyer beware.

I was in the market for a pair clippers so I could cut my hair to a buzz cut number 3. I was recommended by a hair stylist that I know to Sally's beauty supply. I went to the Cicero New York location and from the moment I walked in the door there was nothing but five star customer service. They want you to get the product that you want and not try to push you to buy something that they want to sell. This is a type of store where they don't get many men. Seeing that they provide the same customer service to a guy that they would give as a reason I review. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in need of any kind of hair supplies or equipment. I ended up buying the Wahl Beret hair clippers for $80 and that was including tax.

I tried to return an ION curling brush because it kept getting stuck in my hair and I used it ONCE!The lady in the Cicero store said that she couldn't give me a refund, because the box had been opened and then she said that she couldn't help me at all, because it was out of their return date and I couldn't even get 'store credit' for it!Their return policies are absurd and now I'm STUCK WITH an $80 item that I CAN'T USE!They're only out to make money!They don't CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER!

As a professional don’t not EVER come to this Sally’s unless the woman with purple and black in her hair is there. LAURA the STORE MANAGER. DIDNT EVEN HAVE A MASK ON WHILE TALK TO ME AND THEN PROCEEDED TO LAUGH IN MY FACE ABOUT THE PRODUCTS I was getting. As a professional hairdresser FIRST IMPRESSION mean the world to myself. Disgusting type of person to hire on. Shame on you. Definitely lost my business as this store.

Went in for bleach packets, left with a small bucket of bleach and some hair masks! So excited! Always a joy to ever and shop here. The staff are very knowledgeable, and polite.Just love the respect I get. ?

Horrible customer service. They had a sign up for "Buy 1 get 1 50% off". The sign had no conditions, exclusions, no small print, etc and it sat under the product I intended to buy. I purchased 2 of them, as I was leaving I noticed on the receipt they both rang up regular price. When I asked the woman about it she said it was only for the larger size product. When I pointed out that the sign doesn't indicate anything like that she just stared at me. No apology, no offer to fix the problem, nothing. She couldn't even find words to respond. She just stared at me.

I have difficult hair, and I spoke to an extremely knowledgeable, young woman named Peanut. She listened to everything I explained about my hair, and suggested an olive oil spray, and to try a titanium straightener, instead of the ion one I had been using, and WOW!Because she listened to what products I had previously used, and did not work for me, ( which is a lot of them ) she figured out what spray, and straightener would work best for me, and it truly did! So, I went back the next day, and I bought a couple more titanium products, and luckily I got to see Peanut again, she suggested a hair mask since the spray worked so well, and I bought that too, and Only because she suggested it!Thank You So Much Peanut, and Thank You Sally’s, for employing such an intelligent, extremely personable, beautiful young woman who helped me so much.

Nobody asked if I need any help just continued working . Got what I needed cashed out and left with no goodbye
