Outstanding experience at the Walmart automotive center at the Central Square NY location.(installing new tires)Our suv was taking in as soon as we checked in. I was told the work was going to take about 1 hour, which gave us some time to shop in the store. One hour later my car was done. Great price on the tires and our suv is now running smoothly. Great job by everyone involved from the initial call to set up the appointment (Mickey) and Nelson, the checking employee to the mechanic that installed the tires. Keep up the good work. ?

Check out service was fine, but initially walking on from the drive up and the mechanics are yelling to each other complaining about customers walking in...while we are walking in. I get being busy, and your front desk informed me of that, but to hear your mechanics complaining about us is uncalled for. If they are mad they are working, then quit. Don't be rude in earshot knowing we can hear you and complaining about having work!

I had 4 carry-in wheels with new tires that needed to be put on. I called the Cicero Walmart Auto Center on 10/26/23 and the lady who answered, told me that you cannot schedule an appointment for carry-in tire jobs. They are just walk-in appointments. I asked if there was a better time for me to show up to get the job done (to try and be more convenient for Walmart) and the lady took some time and then she told me that the best time would be if I brought them in at 11AM on Sunday 10/29 (almost sounds like an appointment).I loaded up my car with the wheels and tires and I showed up promptly on Sunday. The team leader Dawn tells me that there is no way she can get me in this day. I explained that this was the time I was told to bring them in and she said I should have scheduled an appointment. I explained that I was told that carry-ins cannot have an appointment and that they are walk-in only which Dawn did acknowledge but she re-stated it couldn't be done today and that weekends are actually the worst time for walk-ins. I told her that I don't need them back today, that could be done at their leisure and just inform me when they are ready. Dawn informed me that she could not keep the wheels/tires overnight. I said that it seems as though they are unable to do this work and maybe I should go elsewhere. She said I could bring them in first thing the next morning (7AM) and she could "try" and get them done that day. I asked what would happen if they couldn't get them done that day. Since they can't be held over night, would I have to return to retrieve them or is it suddenly acceptable to keep them overnight in that specific instance. Dawn had no response. This was a big inconvenience to me as now I had to go home, unpack the tires so I could drive my kids around during the day and then reload the tires for the next day, plus the wasted driving and time. Over all of this I never once got an "I'm sorry you were informed wrong by the first agent", or, "I'm sorry for the inconvenience".I showed up the next day (10/30) and the woman there (I believe Irene) was very confused on how to process the job. Dawn appeared and got through it and I was given a slip with a barcode where I could scan online for status. I was also told by Irene that I would be getting a text message when it was ready. She took my phone number and she was able to find my account in their system. My receipt also shows all of my correct information with phone number.I never received a text message all day. I tried to scan the bar code I was given and I selected the correct service center but it returned no results. Walmart broke their rule of not keeping the wheels/tires overnight."I" called the next day (10/31) and I was told that they are ready. When I showed up, Irene told me they were ready yesterday. I informed her that I never received a message about it nor did the bar code work. This wasn't a big deal to me as I was in no hurry to get the job finished but it could be an issue for someone else or a future job. Again, no empathy at all.The guys in the garage did the job and were pleasant enough. Unfortunately, everything else that a customer experiences was terrible. If they just took the wheels/tires on 10/29 with the job to be done the following day, there wouldn't have been a problem. Some customer service training is greatly needed.Service: Tires

Why they don't change brake pads is a mystery. If all you do is oil changes, your technically lying when you call yourself an Auto Care Center... just sayin.

Purchased tires online through Walmart and had them delivered to the Cicero, NY auto center. Appointment went well. Both Howard C. and Philippe M. provided great, prompt service. Total when all was said and done was $526, which includes tax. I will say that I priced tires at a very reputable auto place on Brewerton Road, as well as at a very reputable place on Champlain Ave in Utica, estimates were $850-950.

Easy to work with them. Took a same day appointments. Make sure they have your tires that day before going though. No issues, nice that they have a separate space while you wait for the work to get done.

I called three different times all just letting it ring for two whole minutes with no answer. Drive the 20 minutes down here. They don’t have what I need. Cool well thanks for wasting my time and my gas because you’re so incompetent you can’t answer your phone. And no they were not busy at all I saw six different employees and only two of which we’re actually doing something.

Arrived 15mins prior to my 8am tire appointment, apparently to stand outside the service department until they felt like opening up.Left at 8:30am to have my tires installed by another shop who were able to give me a firm 9am appointment time.Walmart, it’s time to start paying for employees that will actually work. Your current system is costing you business.Service: Tires

Was at the automotive depth by 7:45 am. Stood in line with only 3 people ahead of mr from 8am when they were suppose to open .. Nobody came to sign us in till 8:30. I was still sitting withing for my truck at 11:40. For only a Tirer pressure sensor... alot of walking around talking between employees. The girl on the counter needed a reality check, she was at work not sleeping. Worst experience every, I shop and spend alot of money at Walmart.

The people who work here have always been rude but you put up with it. Today I went in there at 8:45AM (they open at 8AM). I was greeted with the normal rude behavior "what do you want". All I wanted was an Oil Change. I was replied with "we can't get you in today". I was shocked. I said you can't get me in all all today? Let me check. She walks in the back and comes out with a "Nope". - Not an "I'm sorry blah blah blah" just a "Nope"The lady that deals with people at the Auto Care Center should be FIRED. She is rude and miserable and obviously doesn't want to work or deal with people.I'm up to my wits end with this place and won't be back. Walmart doesn't seem to care about anything.

Tried calling a dozen or so times for tires, only the service desk answered, never got anyone in automotive to pick up my call. Will get tires someplace else. Wish I could give NO stars.

I tried calling 3 times and no one answered. I then tried to call the customer desk to see if they were open which no one answered either. I show up at 5:50pm to find them closed even though the website states 7:00pm. If I had been told they weren't open I wouldn't have wasted the time or gas money. Extremely disappointed. Won't even attempt to come next time I need something.

They're dependable and good for oil changes. The problem is you never know how long you're going to be waiting. The manager is a knowledgeable and helpful.

I would give them 5. Stars but there's always room for improvement !!! I sent my wife to Cicero store to buy and install 4 new tires, they did with no pressure to buy higher priced tires. They installed and balanced and took the old tires. ( I don't know if they charged for that service or not.)It was fairly fast to get in and it took about 90 minutes or so.( NOT A BAD WAITING TIMEAT ALL)EMPLOYEES WERE HELPFUL and friendly. Would recommend there pricing an Service to anyone !!!! ????
