“I loved Henry's at first because the candy is delectable and the workers are not merely personNEL, they are exceptionally personABLE. Then diabetes became an issue in our home, and I was bemoaning the loss of such amazing confections. But, no! There is also a large selection of yummy sugar-free candy in both dark and milk chocolate coatings! (They let me try a sugar-free chocolate-covered caramel marshmallow, and it tasted every bit as scrumptious as the full-sugar version. Wow!) I can still buy candy for my sweetheart-husband and know I am not leading him astray! Marvelous! Henry's is my go-to candy store. I've also found stuffies for small relatives, solid chocolate sport (football, hockey, soccer, etc.) candies I could give for teams and/or coaches, and even chocolate novelties on a stick, like a super-cool lollipop. Henry's is a huge plus in my search for one-stop shopping venues. Get it all at once, and find it twice as delicious!”

“AH-mazing. Locally owned and has everything I need in one spot. Orange, dark, maple, milk, peanut butter. You name it! Plus bunnies and other animals! I was able to shop for family and the kids basket. They have a whole kids table with gummies, fun shaped chocolates, jelly beans and more!”

“Buffalo is blessed with fantastic chocolatiers. Each one can put his own spin on their candy. When you walk into a chocolate shop it is a religious experience. You aren't there to buy a box of chocolate and rush out the door to Wegmans. You are there to celebrate the masters of their craft. So Mr. Cork sniffer, is Parkside the best? It might be. Watson's is also my favorite. I'll just stick to talking about sponge. Parkside has the thinner sponge pieces. I might favor that format. But they both are kings. You can love two things the best, right? You have to be aware that sponge is delicate. So is the chocolate too. Maybe you kept it too long. Maybe, god forbid, there is a bad piece. Like mold on cheese, sediment in the wine, and grizzle in the steak - sometimes it has flaws. But Buffalo sponge is a treasure. Thank your lucky stars the place exists. Now go buy some!”
