Frustrating Experience! After getting both copy services and purchasing some some small items over the past couple weeks, spending hundreds of dollars, my experience today was the final straw. Waiting for cashiers while the customers queue, associates are lazy, self-serve copy machines don't work, prices are high and the service overall is just generally bad. If you shop here, plan extra time and a frustrating experience. I for one, will no longer shop or seek services here. Something is just 'off' with this location.

Megan was a bitch. All we did was ask a question and she acted like she hates her job. Quit if you don't like your job.

No greeting no acknowledgement NOTING. I got completely ignored for 10 minutes. I get its a busy season. I understand your under staffed. I don’t understand forgetting your manners. All I needed was a I’ll be right with you, give me sec, hello, literally ANYTHING. But nope couldn’t even give me the common decency of that. 0 out of 10 would not recommend. Also she helped a guy that wasn’t even there when I came up but apparently he was more important than me??♀️??♀️??♀️Absolute garbage.

On Sunday April 3rd I was looking for a business card service to create a card for my various jobs and hobbies. There is a great number business card suppliers online, but my solution was found a half mile away at my local STAPLES. Staples offers an amazing array of cards for every type of business and need. These also come at a very reasonable cost. Where Staples created the need for me to write a Yelp! is how their customer service was far exceeding many of the businesses I wrote about. Ordered on Sunday night, I picked up my cards (hopefully my picture will come out on this Yelp!) that we're able to represent the different ventures I pursue. Jessie, the Print and Marketing Supervisor put together my order. She thoroughly checked every card and threw in a few extra for my wait. She was kind, attentive and knowledgeable in her working with me. On a return visit, I met Ruth. An incredibly helpful and friendly cashier who told me about future sales for teachers and upon request, gave me the directions on how to complete a survey for them. I missed it by one day unfortunately. What was amazing about Ruth and this organization is that Ruth uses a walker to sit on and to get around with the wheels. This tells me that Staples hires diversity and recognizes hard work not disabilities. Finally, I have always loved this store and the various teacher solutions and technology solutions that is provides. Do Salatino, the general manager, runs a good ship, helping employees, shoppers and businesses meet their needs.

We had a need to replace old laptop computer and so I went to staples Sunday morning to try and make a purchase and also to get some questions answered. I was waited on fairly promptly by a young man in a wrinkled T shirt and no name tag and I would love to tell you his name but he never bothered to introduce himself. I told him I was looking to replace a computer that was old and antiquated and my main question before going further was could I buy windows office as a separate program because it seemed to me lately that it has to be a subscription. Without even thinking he said Oh no you can buy it separately and then we went to look he seemed confused and said well I guess it's a subscription after all. Immediately he then said we have a service for $89 to transfer all of your old data and I instructed him that this was just a leisure computer and there was no data worth saving so I wouldn't need that function. Immediately following that conversation he informed me that all of the new drives are solid state and they normally fail within a year and the computer warranty would not probably be able to cover that because they would find a way to blame me and his solution was for me to buy an extended warranty, mind you I hadn't even decided to buy a computer yet and he's already trying to sell me after sale products. As the conversation ensued I kept trying to draw out information to make a purchasing decision and he kept telling me about all of the extended warranties and customer service agreements available at staples for a price. Finally in complete discouragement I told him that I felt I was all set for now and I left the store completely disillusioned. I know that newer employees need training and counseling and I am normally patient but this kid was just over the top and clearly it seemed to me that he was incentivized for selling the aftermarket products instead of giving me the solid customer service that I was seeking. If this is how their salespeople are hired and trained it looks like I'm going to be searching for a new computer store first.

The employees are knowledgeable and helpful. Every employee greets you, very friendly. Some great finds in sales and clearance. Wish they had a better selection on tablets though, but this a corporate thing not store level. Store is clean and organized.

Staff was very rude and unhelpful. Told us to wait for an employee because we couldn't do self copy, and that employee got mad at us for not doing self copy to begin with. Please learn how to hire friendly and helpful employees.

Specifically the printing department staff was terrible. Went in to print a larger document and have it bound. After previously having a phone call telling me to bring in a flash drive for easiest experience and I could print it myself I went to the store to do so. I asked an employee in that department if I was in the right spot as she started saying yes the other employee yelled at me "No you can't do that here." And that was all that was said until I asked if she was talking to me. After some back and forth it seems there is only one person who can work the printer and they don't work until tomorrow morning. Now if at any point in my prior phone conversation it was conveyed that there is only a single staff member that can print or when one could come by to print or even foregoing all of that something other than yelling at me no I can't do that with no explanation or courtesy I may have done business there but based on my experience I won't. Your mileage may vary and again this was specifically the printing department I cannot speak to the rest of the store or staff.
