“I ordered a river baby hat to be shipped to a friend who lived out of state. About a week later I received a handwritten card from the owner with $2. She explained the shipping cost less than I had paid and she wanted to return the difference. Such a sweet gesture, and really highlights the importance of choosing small businesses whenever possible!”

This a destination stop where you can meet a nice owner and feel at home when you walk into the peaceful building. There is a really cool upstairs art gallery with a tight winding staircase, t-shirts to celebrate history and local and even postcards that are different from the other gift shops around. You want to take your time here and really enjoy the art. The owner was helpful with great service. If you want to splurge they even have 100 year little row boat from a yacht that is full of history and character. Glad we stopped here and will have to come back for more conversation and gift ideas.”
