Although I don’t live in the area, I have occasion to stop there when visiting, and although some of my requests require me to travel elsewhere because what I’m looking for is not available the staff there has been helpful. They have gone out of their way to accommodate my needs and most recently, They held a product for me until I could get in the area and purchase it. I’m impressed with the manner in which they treat their customers even ones that they don’t know.

I generally like this store but yesterday (October 1st) I showed up with my new sale flyer in hand to buy Scott’s rapid grass seed and there was none on the shelf. The associate checked the other store and it was out too so he checked a few other stores and bingo! Waterford supposedly had it. I drove to Waterford and they were in fact out of it too. So it’s the peak of re-seeding season, Ace has Scott’s Rapid seed in their latest sale flyer but the stores don't have it. I ended up buying it at Home Depot as it was in-stock and even a few dollars less. So much for trying to support my locally owned Ace franchises.

Very helpful and knowledgeable. AC unit went out over a hot weekend. Opened the unit and looked like capacitors were the issue. Was able to find the correct parts in stock at the local ace along with some new tap screws to replace the rusty ones on the unit. 50 bucks instead of a minimum $300 weekend visit from an HVAC tech. Associates were helpful in getting me what I needed quick and didn't try to sell me a new HVAC system, and I got some popcorn.

In response to business: You are exactly right because of people and places like you driving up the prices. You ruin it for people to actually collect these for their kids. Dont worry people will find them and you'll be stuck with them looking like a joke to everyone on social media for how badly you price gouge. A+ for trashy business ethics.
A box of pokemon cards that sells for $59.99 everywhere is selling for $139.99. If they upset that much on this then what do they do to everything else...

I really enjoy this store. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are days where I just want to test my water and don’t buy anything, and days where I am spending hundreds of dollars. They treat me the same no matter the visit. Feels like a local shop. I appreciate you Robinson Hardware.

This is a photo of my 7yo son after being told Dad went to Ace Hardware without him. The popcorn has a hold on him. That being said, staff is always super helpful, great local place to go.
