Timely service, early in fact which was even better. Had the system in the house for over 10 years and had a similar system in the house prior to this one. Very happy with it.

If only there were negative stars. Steve the owner and his croney Mark are a piece of work!!!! 1st of all Steve is a liar!!! He will promise you the moon and you will get absolutely nothing but service charges on his own equipment!!!! What a joke!! Now Mark the man that knows it all.. He hooked the system up wrong!! Puts the unions before the shut-offs!!! True amateur!!! Steve will send 1 guy the only guy his so called company has named Mark.. I worked 10 hrs right along side of this so called professional. Several pairs of clothing got ruined due to his negligence of opening valves with nothing connected to them!!!! Then I get a bill for a service call!!! That I did all the work!!! He will install used outdated equipment and charge you full price in your lease!!!! Beware people beware!!!!!! I have video and audio of everytime they were at my house for those that are interested. I am just waiting for Steve to charge me for the month of November when his system has been out of service and disconnected since October 26.. I will keep you posted!!! Beware of this crook.... Update!! They have been turned into the EPA!! They dumped the chemicals out of my 2- 15 gallon containers they said they supplied, into my driveway 10' from my well and 10' from the creek.. Also Steve is still trying to charge me for rental after he already picked his old outdated equipment up.. A true conman. Now the EPA is stepping in. I have tried to be nice to Steve but all he does is yell like a man on medication!! Will keep you all updated!! The video is awsome. Thanks all that asked to view it..

The person who came was not particularly professional, did not test. The water was very upset when I asked him for more time as I saw some negative reviews and I would like to research more I noticed that he responds to all of the negative reviews, very defensively, which is also a red flag. A professional business should not have to do something like that, she also told me that there were no such thing as a salt, free purifier and softener there was a reverse osmosis that some cases can work in general. It left a bad taste in my mouth. I would not refer this business. The product might be good but the people selling it or not.

Would give zero stars if that were an option. Did a poor job of investigating our problem, sold us an expensive holding tank we probably didn't actually need, failed to get it installed correctly the first time, had to send a different person the next day to fix it. Then, after the second installer told us he would not charge for that visit, the boss is trying to collect for it anyway (because in the process of fixing his colleague's work he also found and fixed the undiagnosed original problem). Rude staff, extremely toxic workplace per the installer, staff incompetent to troubleshoot and complete repairs, threatened by office manager for a sum we don't owe. Stay far away from these people. Very bad juju.

I highly recommend Stephen and his team for all of your water needs. My parents and subsequently my wife and I purchased a reverse osmosis system - exceptional service, friendly and prompt. Highly recommend Aquascience!

OMG The absolute WORST customer service I have ever received. With so many 1 star reviews, I struggle to see how they have even 2.5 stars. I had a system installed and almost from the beginning, I had problems. The owner, Steve, is just rude and arrogant. Here's the thing, they are nice as pie before they have your money BUT afterward, they become combative and aggressive. I'm sure they will disparage my review like they did the others on here but I felt like I needed to warn others that there are better solutions out there. STAY AWAY FROM AQUASCIENCE!!!

Where do I even begin... I had a nearly identical experience as another reviewer. We bought our house 2 years ago & we were intentionally deceived on existing water problems. It was so considerate of the sellers to lie about the water problems just so we'd be tricked into buying. I can honestly say that if they were forthcoming about the water we would've ran the other direction! The problems with the water are beyond an inconvenience at this point. I'm not saying we are expecting an unlimited amount of water at our disposal, but it would be nice to be able to take a shower, run the dishwasher, or washer or add water to our pool. All of the above we can not do. Water is not a luxury, it is A vital necessity to sustain life. Our current well is very deep, there is very little water, & the water that does come out is slimy, oily, & the smell is horrendous!! Our toilets have disgusting black residue in the backs. I'm assuming inside our pipes looks the same. We called several companies to try and resolve the issue of the smelly, slimy water. Steve from Aquascience gave us a decent price so we made the mistake of going with him. We paid over $3200 for them to install a charcoal system to treat the waters issues. From day 1, the system has not worked. We were adding water and bleach to their tiny jug every other. The water still smelled. We called and were met by the most obnoxious, condescending woman ever who basically has done nothing to help but instead has blamed US for every single thing that's has not worked or gone wrong. We've had several other companies come in and review their "work" and each one has given the same conclusion. The system is totally wrong and not appropriate for our house. Do not waste your $$ because they only care about getting your $$ & after they do they could care less!!

We bought a house that has smelly water. Steve the owner came out and sold us a unit to fix the problem with the words "If this doesn't work we will make it right". After installation, it didn't work, so about every two weeks for months we tried other things per Steve's request. Once an office staff answered and said well the unit you have doesn't fix that problem. So i said why would Steve install it. She had no comment. Nothing worked for more than a couple days. Then he said I'm sending someone out to fix it. We'll there fix was putting chlorine in the system every other day. I know that's not the answer. A week later he sent us a bill for his employee coming to the house. He now will not return calls or emails.

Not even worth a star, was never a customer i actually worked for the company, was told i was being hired as a worker under paid at 11 an hr, even my own partner said i was worth more, had to leave company due to being under paid, owner said during interview i would be on trial basis after that month we would sit down and see if i wanted to stay with company and if i wanted to stay talk about a pay raise which the sit down never happened. website says there licensed now idk about the owner but me i installed water systems with my partner and im not certified in anything that has to do with the job which by nys state law you have to be certified. not to sure if the other 2 employees are certified but i do know i was hired as a worker not a driver as the owner said i was when he got into argument with my partner. plus if i was hired as a driver then idk why the owner bought another truck as he was planning to send out on my own, only thing i can think of is he was going to promote me from driver to worker but cant promote someone to a position you claim to hire them from the start. company does nothing but lie to employees well they lied to me, owner tried to say we were going to work on new yrs which i said only way im doing that is if i get time and a half which they tried to claim they didnt have to when by federal law its a holiday even contacted nys department of labor i would of had to be paid time and a half but his bookie saved his ass when she talked him into giving us the day off. anyways biggest mistake i made was working for the company. best part is when i went into the office to ruen my stuff in the owner tried to argue with me soon as i called him a lier he asked me to leave my response was next time get your stories straight owner followed me out the door and said ill make this simple come back here and ill have you arrested for trespassing which he cannot do as other side of his door is public property. but he felt the need to be childish and threaten me while i was trying to leave i laughed at him said have fun trying that and left. company is a complete joke, i could say alot more but not going to waste anymore time on the joke.

Aquascience has been assisting us for many years with a recurrent issue on our water system. I have been able to assume much of our diagnostics/repair needs, having learned more about the system and its operation during their visits. Admittedly, they have been helpful. Well, it became time to replace a 'wear' item. I called Aquascience and was told they had the part at a cost of ~$300.00. After purchasing it (unfortunately 'AFTER') I did a web search with the part ID # in hand. Turns out I could get THE EXACT SAME part for ~$120.00 including delivery cost. I had yet to open the sealed plastic wrap of the Aquascience part, yet was told I could not return it. I was told they have a "no return/refund" policy and in fact, that is printed right on the receipt. Assuming they can get a volume cost on the part much less that what I was quoted online, I am not surprised they would have a "no return" policy. I would too if I was charging a price that effectively gave me a likely 300% profit margin. So all I can say is IF you are purchasing from Aquascience be certain that 1) you REALLY need the part because you will apparently be grossly overcharged for it and will be refused any return, and 2) consider giving an online source your money if you dislike being overcharged. I give Aquascience an "A" for service. I give them an "F" for overcharging.

I am very much surprised at the reviews posted here. I'm not disputing their experience or opinions. I just got outstanding service from Steve and his team. My local well-drilling company did a series of services to address a well with occasional low yield. Each procedure caused a bigger, more expensive problem. They first replaced the contact tank. That didn't fix the problem. They recommended hydro-fracking, which increased the flow but left the water full of sediment. They then asked for $8,000 to install a filter to solve the problem they caused. After calling up probably half a dozen companies over a three month period and getting some serious upselling pressure and erratic, if non-existent, customer service, Steve personally came to my house, assessed my current system and designed a solution for my problem that worked with the equipment I already had and saved me thousands of dollars. I was on the verge of paying between $6,000 to $8,000 and having extensive work done to my water system. Aquascience installed a sediment filter AND a new tank for a little over $2k. Just on the savings alone I am wholeheartedly recommending Steve. But Steve and his team, on top of it all, were extremely attentive and responsive. After getting burned by the first company, I asked about a thousand questions and got as much detail about the proposed procedures. Steve patiently answered each question, better than that, he answered each phone call and gave thoughtful answers to each question and even taught me a thing or two about my system that I didn't know. So if I have any issues with my water system in the future, my first call will be to Aquascience.

I just received a call informing me that a service team would be by to service the unit. They arrived, disassembled the unit, made adjustments, re-assembled and told me all is good. If things work as expected, I will gladly revise my post and rating. For now, I will upgrade to two stars. Not good. Unit was installed a few weeks ago and did not seem to work. I explained that it was not softening the water properly (no suds like the old unit they replaced.) They told me that the unit is brand new and is working perfectly and that if I wanted I could bring in a sample to test the hardness. When I pressed them, they told me to run a regeneration cycle. After doing that, there was water all over the floor. I called again for service and was told they could squeeze me in in a week or so. Very, very disappointing.
