Bank closes at 4 o'clock You would think there would be open 9 to 5 like a normal business

In general compared to two other largest banks where we have accounts I've found BOA staff to be more helpful and pleasant, and BOA offers more perks like free cashier checks and notarization to their customers. Specifically about this Clifton Park branch I've invariably had positive experiences during my visits here, but they really exceeded expectations in our visit yesterday in this post Covid-19 era. Both my wife and I wanted our health proxy statements (living wills) witnessed and notarized. Not only did this branch's folks do that graciously and for free, but they even provided their own colleagues as witnesses since these are required to sign at time and place of notarization, This was really helpful as we didn't want to burden any of our friends or neighbors to act as witnesses and have to travel anywhere with us for this task. And yes, they had a touchless sanitizer dispenser at their entrance and 6 feet distancing requirements in their branch as we'd expect in a reputed establishment these days. Thank you, and keep it up!

Terrible bank to do business with I'm not even a customer. If you're a non-account holder you cannot cash a member's check at any branch over $150

This BoA location is the best I have experienced in many years of banking. As a former customer of Chase, I found Chase branches disorganized and that the bank officers lacked the polish and professionalism that is exhibited by the Clifton Park BoA staff. I would largely attribute this branch's success to the organization and efficiency of manager (JG) through her excellent oversight and strong customer service skills. It has been a pleasure doing business here.

Would give 0 stars if I could. I've been a customer for about 10 years. Today, two of my accounts were charged a maintenance fee which I've never been charged with before and neither of my accounts were "low" at all. When I called to ask about it, the guy on the phone was unbelievably rude. When I asked if they could refund the money and then I could come in and figure out what's going on so this doesn't happen again, he gave me attitude and said they don't give refunds and that I should have made a copy of the contract I signed when I signed up with them....from 10 years ago....? I then told him I'd be switching banks then because this is ridiculous and he HUNG UP ON ME!! When I called back and asked why I was hung up on...he hung up again. So unprofessional and I am so done with this bank.

I went to confirm I could deposit a check in US Dollars from a Canadian bank. The "Head Teller" told me they would have to put a hold on the check for up to 30 days. I knew this was wrong and questioned why. She told me: "It's the law" !! Knowing this was not true, I again questioned her and she again stated: IT'S THE LAW !!!....I said: That's not true, I know better; this your Bank's policy, NOT THE LAW. She finally admitted it was the Bank's policy...I told her she was a LIAR & I don't do business (especially banking business) with liars. I opened an account at another bank & they will hold the check 3 to 5 days for it to clear !!!!...DON'T TRUST THESE LIARS WITH YOUR MONEY !!!!!!

Saturday morning ... went into bank to open a savings account. There were about a half dozen cubicles with 3 employees in them. Two employees were having a conversation, a third was just sitting there. After a few minutes a woman who was having a conversation came out of the cubicle and asked if she could help us. We said we wanted to open a savings account. She looked us up and down and then asked if we had an appointment. An appointment!?!? I have never had to make an appointment to open a savings account. In typical Clifton Park highfalutin attitude, she went on to say that they were busy and had other appointments scheduled. What I saw were 3 people sitting at their desks with no customers! We made an appointment for next Saturday. When I asked how long it would take to open the account, we were told 45 minutes to an hour! For a savings account?! To recap: we were trying to give the bank our money. The bank employee was snotty, and basically told us to come back another time. We found this whole experience ridiculous. Even though we made an appointment, we will be looking for another banking institution. I wouldn't recommend the Clifton Park branch of Bank of America if you are expecting good customer service.

I love Bank of America, my whole family banks with them. It makes it easy for us to move our money. This particular branch has the worst customer service. The employees are okay however the manager is horrible. Every single time I have to go to the bank and she's involved, things gets uncomfortable. Her professionalism level is a 1 on a scale of 1-10. 1 being the worst ever. My encounter at the bank today make me want to close my account and switch bank. If I don't have such a long relationship with Bank of America. I'd probably would. I wish they would just replace her with someone else.
