I had a really bad experience with the phone customer service for Capcom and was super stressed out. I came in and was immediately greeted by Cara at the front desk, she was so reassuring and down to Earth and I immediately became less nervous when she started helping me. She actually figured out the reason I kept having card issues over the last few YEARS that even the people at my home Cap Com didnt take the care to figure out. She went above and beyond to help me fix everything and I am so grateful she was able to help me. I wish there were more workers at Cap Com like her! Thank you so much Cara!

My hometown credit union became a faceless corporate bank today. The changed their policy on my credit line without notifying me, Years ago they suggested a premium cc that has the ability to use it as a credit line for cash. After 18 years of working with me and multiple loans paid off and some current. Not once have I been late on a payment, credit score is good, but I was told that's the new policy of BROAD VIEW CREDIT UNION. Changed last Wednesday????? I informed them I had written checks and needed to cover them. They told me that was their policy, and they couldn't help me. Wasted an hour and a 1/2 at the bank trying to work it out ( keep in mind I have 20k in credit available but can't do a cash advance )?? 6 different people tried to help me, Finally they offered a minimum person loan. To cover checks I wrote. I would have to wait a day !??! I just left disgusted , went to Key Bank and they were more then helpful!! 30 minutes and I had a credit line 2x more than Cap com. I also am refinancing all loans in Cap com They are not the Credit Union we started with . Can't believe they left me hanging like that. Most surprising, no one following up with me to apologize for-their poor unannounced change in policy affected me such a horrible way! do yourself a favor find a new financial institution. They lost their way. I

Ever since the merger their customer service has been terrible. I'm thinking about leaving they are not true on their policies. They need better communication with their customers. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere

Its so hit or miss at this branch its not even funny. Only 1 out of every 5 employees here want to help you. Customer service and account protection is abhorrent. Teller misunderstood a digit in my account, told me I said it wrong, then proceeded to ask me if my name was Madison and repeated the incorrect number back to me. So not only did he tell me I didn't know my own account number, he provided me with the name and account number of a fellow member who has a very similar member number. For working with numbers, these people are not very good at arithmetic. I was asking about a $180 charge and they kept telling me it was pending. But the amount pending was only $110, clearly not the same charge but they couldn't be bothered or admit they made a mistake.

My daughter have account with this bank since she a toddler and we moved our account from SEFCU to them. For years I been doing deposits toward the branch or online not once did I ever for password security at the branch even when doing large sum deposits because I always give them my id, bank account etc however today I went there to deposit money to my daughter account for which I am part off the account. Gave the lady with the nose ring my account card, and the money. She asked me for security password so I asked her when did that started; she claimed it’s been forever. Weird because that’s the first time I hear about it. I know when you call you required to give but to deposit money to your account at with the branch with all information provided? Seriously? Than she proceeded to have an attitude with me because I questioned her. Customer service been horrible over there at that branch some of those employees think people are beneath them for some reason. Instead of been mean spirited I decided to ignore them but now I have enough. Our family combined have four accounts there. I been with SEFCU for two decades never have issues with them.

I think it is funny that I can go to the same bank in different locations and get my whole check cashed on the spot, but every time I come to this capcom in Clifton park they refuse to cash my check because they think it’s fake. I have never had this problem at any other capcom location EXCEPT for this one. When I told the lady that refused to cash my check that I have never had this problem at any other location, all she said was “good for you”. You need to train your staff the right way because that is ridiculous.

I've been a Capcom member over 20 years, sadly the bigger they've gotten the worse the customer service has become. Twenty minutes on hold only to be told there no one there that can help address your questions? Sorry that's unacceptable.

I really wish I could give Cap Com in Clifton Park 0/5 stars. The service here is embarrassing. I went into the branch to deposit money and inquire about different investment options as well as student loan payments. I spoke to one gentleman at the counter who was very nice but did not know a thing. He brought over his “manager” who also did not know a thing about what I was asking about. This guy seemed very uninterested in helping me and cut me off every time I began to ask a question. When asking about different investment options I was told to “actually save some real money.” Mind you this guy has no knowledge of my bank account. I’m not sure if I was not being taken seriously because I am in my early twenties, regardless that should not matter. He clearly had no idea what he was talking about and said his manager Brian would give me a call the following week. Well it has been a month and I have not received any calls. I would not recommend this bank to anyone.
