My son’s laptop had a fan that was extremely loud. I did not have the time to look into it due to work and suggested that he bring it to a computer repair shop since it should have been a pretty quick and fairly cheap fix. They held onto the laptop for just about a month. They suggested fixing all the viruses on the computer (basically running antivirus and malwarebytes-both free to download) for 100+ dollars. After we received the computer after a month, none of the fans were running…. Why send back a laptop with 2 non working fans and state that it’s fixed…. Claimed that we would need a new motherboard, but suggested we buy one of their refurbished laptops instead. I took 30 minutes and fixed it myself and it’s been running great. My laziness ultimately cost my son 200 dollars and potential 1000+ dollars. If you need repairs, you’ll have better luck at your local Bath&Body Works

Drove over an hour for a part they said they had ! Come on by!! And .....nothing . Nope we don't have it .... awesome waste of my time after work ..should of just trusted the one star reviews...

Dropped 3 computers off spoke to one guy he said he would call me tomorrow with an update and prices and a value on my computer for a possible trade in. 8 days go by and nothing I said what do I do he said come in tomorrow and talk to Duane I came back I talked to Duane , he said come back and talk to his other guy, I came back in talked to the other guy he said I’ll look it over and call you tomorrow 6 days went by no call I go in to find out what the deal is , tried keeping my 2 Alienware computers and said I need a new computer no discount but yet wanted to keep my Alienware computers ? Either they don’t care or they tried scamming me and my son. Terrible business ethics, very unreliable, very unprofessional.

Small computer repair shop, but totally worth it compared to the bog computer stores around. Friendly and knowledgeable staff who help you get either new or used product for your needs.

This place must have new management. It’s like they do not care about their customers even when they have your products with them. Each time you called m, they hang up on you with no apologies. Will hold to your product for a week without update.

Employee was not honest and had the attitude that I was inconveniencing him.They did work that I did not ok without contacting me then lied and said he left a message. I do not have voicemail set up. He complained that it had been there a long time and when I pointed out that I was told twice that they were waiting on a part (2 weeks each time and one time they forgot to order so an extra few days for that.) The math on the bill did not reflect the $150 I already paid even though it is noted on there that I did. When I questioned the bill and mentioned the money I buy down he argued with me and denied it until I pointed it out on the bill. He then threatened to take parts out of the computer and said my computer had been there over 6 months. It's been less than 3 and says so right on the paperwork. They have my $150 deposit and still have my daughters computer. After the first time that employee lied I started recording just in case there were issues. Twice I asked why he was being rude and lying and he said "Does it matter? I'm busy." I NEED OWNER TO CONTACT ME

I spilled water on my 2012 Dell laptop and it died. The Geek Squad told me to come to Albany and when I did, they wouldn't even look at it because of how old it was. They told me to find a small repair shop to help. Enter Computer Answers. I called the store and spoke with Jake, who told me to bring my laptop right in. He said he would at least be able to recover the data for me so it could be transferred to a new computer. I really didn't want to buy a new laptop because mine has a lot of features they don't put in laptops these days (like a DVD/CD player). Jake called me later that night and said he would be able to fix it, gave me a price, and said he could upgrade me to Windows 10 (I had 7). I thought the price was great and gave him the go-ahead. He had it fixed within a few days and it works great! He gave me a new keyboard, mother board, memory, etc., and offered me a new mouse because he wasn't sure about the touch pad. I've got all my data, my laptop is working perfectly and even the touch pad is working now. I'm so grateful to Jake and his hard work! He saved me at least $800 on a new Dell that would have had minimal features. Highly recommend this place! Thanks, Jake!!

UPDATE: Had my computer fixed by them and suddenly had a data breech where someone tried to steal money from one of my bank accounts. Called them because it was the only time the computer was out of my possession and they told me they don't see the data, only transfer it. Luckily, my bank and I caught the transactions before they went through (It was labelled Green Dot) but I had to close the account and go through the hassle of opening another. Don't want to suspect this company but it seems very suspicious that this happened right after they had my computer in their shop. Beware if you get your computer fixed from ANY company and it has confidential information on it, check your accounts and watch for fraudulent activity!!
