Went to the salon in clifton park on rt 9. Had 2 separate pictures with me of the style for cut and the color. The entire time I was trusting the stylist. When I was turned around to the mirror after 3.5 hours later. I looked like a red tiger. I had red hair with bright red highlights! Neither is what I had asked for. I've asked for a refund of my $253.00 and the district manager refused. They offered to have the man that messed it up to redo it. No thank you.. I've lost faith in your company. I had to spend another 200$ to have it fixed properly. And as it was being fixed the woman was finding all sorts of different colors of "red" in my hair. With strips that were over 2inchs wide my "highlights '. After researching online this is this company's m.o. they don't vet their stylists and they have zero guidance. 100s of people online have complained about this exact thing.. so thank you smart style for ruining my hair and costing me over $500 in total to have my hair done. Never again

I am a recent cancer survivor so the hair that I have grown back is very precious to me , but the day I stopped in the salon mare was working , she did an amazing job on my highlights and I could not give her enough stars , she made me feel like the person I was before I got sick ?

The one that cut my hair recently left but they called me the day before my appointment to tell me she was gone she was the only one that caught my hair and highlighted it the way I wanted it she didn't charge me an arm and leg like everybody else she only charged me $68 for a cotton highlight because my hair was so short. So now I'm afraid to go back there because I think they'll charge me over $100 again and they had to change their thing online because they're not open till 7:00 they close right up at 4:00 so people that work till 3:30 can't even get in and get a haircut after work.

If I can give it a zero I will! This place has no respect to their clients time! Cancelled me twice on the spot. I booked an appointment this Monday - Nov 27 for my son’s haircut, upon arriving I was informed by the stylist she was apparently double booked and they can’t take my son for haircut that time. I was like at least give the audacity to call me instead of me bringing my 4 year old and an infant and wasting our time! The stylist was apologetic and offered me a reschedule Wednesday Nov 29, I specifically said 1:45pm as my son goes out of school 1:30, she said yes you are now in the system. Then today, showing up and telling me I can’t do your son’s hair as your appointment was 1:15 and she’s already doing a hair color! Seriously!!! ? I only considered this place because of the convenience of the location. Lesson learned, I will find one that do respects people time!

Never again. Worst cut in years by far. Shaky hands. Bad breath. Had to go to another shop to fix the abomination of a cut they thought was ok. DO NOT GO HERE!

If I could give it zero, I would. Made an appointment for 2pm the night before. Arrived early, was told to come back, came back and stood at the register for 40 minutes while she took two walk ins. At 230, she finishes her walk ins and said "I'm closing. I can't help you" when I said it would have been nice if she could have told me fourth minutes prior, she said too bad, it's not her problem.Service: Haircut

ruined my wife’s hair. Older guy with bad shakey hands, and the manager is completely rude, and doesn’t know how to run a salon. Disgusting. Used to be an amazing salon, very family oriented and the salon crew was unremarkable. Miss the old manager Kathy. Wont go back unless they get new management.

Three times I’ve had an appointment only to be told they cannot honor it and to come back at a later time. What is the point of an appointment then? If you value your time go elsewhere because they certainly don’t value customers time. Unreliable from staffing issues.. Second time in a row that staff did not show up, this last one was worse. One barber on a Sunday morning, three people with reservations Infront of mine, would not be seen for another 45 minutes, I made an appointment on my phone in Latham from here and got my haircut before I would sit in your down here. It will be a long time if ever I try this place again.Service: Haircut

Do not go here for a haircut. I showed them a picture and they still managed to mess up my hair. I wanted an undercut and they literally just scissor clipped my hair. The only thing they do good is a buzzcut. I am never going back to this place.

I had a cute, punky hair stylist on loan from the Queensbury Walmart, who gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve had in two years! It was a few weeks ago and I need to find her for my next trim!

They butchered my hair! I literally was bawling my eyes out! Never again! I wish I could post photos here. I'm Absolutely disgusted. It costed me another $50 to have it fixed.Edit: The manager was very apologetic. And refunded me the money. She was very sweet and helpful. So I changed the review from one star to three stars.

I made an appointment online and when I got there I was told I can't be helped. Why do they allow you to make an appointment online when you can't even be seen for a haircut.
