Months later I had a trailer light issue and they graciously pointed out that I had a blown fuse, and without delay they found a new fuse and installed it FOR FREE. “This experience is a couple years old as of me writing this, but a good review was owed. I had an issue with my car, which I brought to a mechanic a couple miles up the road. I decided to make good use of my lack of car by renting a van to transport some building supplies. I did not know when making my reservation that this location is also a mechanic shop, but hindsight is 20/20. Anyway, this place was kind enough to sacrifice their staffing and fuel to give me a ride to my mechanic after I returned the van. I felt that was very generous considering my contribution to their revenue was just the cost of the van for a couple of hours.”

“The owner at Key motors went way way above and beyond. Our lights weren’t working when we tried to hook up the trailer and he came out in the dark and cold, getting under the hood of our truck, trying to help diagnose issue! When we realized we couldn’t fix it, he happily put us in a truck instead. It was after hours by the time we left. We rent a lot of UHALS and have NEVER had service like this! Thank you! You saved our butts last night!”
“Truck was VERY clean, ran well when hauling, it was a bit bumpy when empty, but that may be normal.
Overall a positive experience, the mirrors were easy to move so backing up was safe to do; the turning radius was exceptional, we rented the 27 foot truck and had no problems with curbs or corners, it turned beautifully.”

“I rented a small box truck for a short in-town move. This location in Troy has convenient hours and had the right vehicle size available from my online reservation. It drove in very good condition, easy to operate and fit what I needed. The staff person was helpful with answering questions I had and made the check-out and check-in process quick and simple. I witnessed this gentleman below “Richard Koonce”(with the bad review) who I do not know at all! be unbelievably vulgar and disrespectful to the point Essentials had to get police involved after many failed attempts of defusing the situation. You can’t fault a company for doing there job when your out driving with no license and an illegal plate on your vehicle causing accidents and think your not going to get charged!I Just went on this site to get Essentials number again to use them and saw this gentleman picture below and the review he wrote and felt I should share the actual truth on what happened! Especially when Essentials employees all handled this situation very professionally!Very nice, genuine people! I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone I know!”
