Regarding the Clifton Park Verizon store. Mikayla, the sales rep., looked angry, uninterested in selling us anything. I knew which phone I was interested in. My son asked her what she suggested. She replied "you have to pick your own." She pointed me towards the phone I mentioned. She didn't tell me anything about the phone, nor did she show me any other phones or accessories. She told me I needed to pay $29.99 for info to be transferred to a new phone. I asked what was being transferred and she told me, "I am transferring what I can." The last time I purchased a phone from Verizon, all info was transferred for free.I have read many negative reviews of this store and Mikayla. Imagine the profits Verizon is losing here. Whomever is responsible for responding and acting on these reviews is ineffective and probably as disinterested as Mikayla. Would never recommend this store.

Recently visited this office in Clifton Park with issues connected to my home phone service. Was helped by a girl named Mikayla, who had absolutely no personality but dis solve my problem, so I thought. When I returned home I still had no service. The next day I returned to the office to try and rectify the problem once again. I was helped by a young punk with curly hair, earrings in both ears and long fingernails. Sorry I have to describe him as I don't remember his name. I explained my situation. Asked if a tech could be dispatched to my home. He informed me that "I don't get paid enough to give out that info". I can't say that I've ever be treated more rudely. A friend of mine also had a similar experience. Had issues with her cell. Situation was resolved and my friend offered the employee a few bucks to get a coffee in appreciation. The employee said he was going to lunch, suggested that she should give him more money. What the he'll kind of people are you horizontal there??? Never again.

My friends ordered a new phone for me as a gift. They were assured that when I went to the Clifton Park store to pick it up, a rep would help me set up the phone, transfer my contacts, and show me cases and screen protectors. Instead, the salesman told me to use an app to set up the phone myself. I see why others say the staff is condescending--he asked if I had WiFi and if I knew how to sign in to my own service with my username and password! I'm a college professor and am capable of activating a phone; I just feel that Verizon should provide this service, especially as it was promised. On to accessories: "We don't carry cases for that phone any more; you might be able to get one from Amazon." My friends were lied to again when they were told they were getting a great deal on an expensive phone. It's an old model on the cusp of obsolescence. During this interchange, which lasted no more that four minutes, I was being subtly herded toward the door and found myself neatly ejected onto the sidewalk. The staff was using the same walk-and-talk technique to get rid of the other customers. (I was actually quite impressed and wish I had thought of this method years ago when I worked retail. It would have saved me the effort of actually doing my job.) In short, I went to the store expecting help and was handed a box. I would have gotten more customer service by ordering online. At least delivery drivers put your package on your doorstep for you before they run away.

Worst service ever. Not helpful. Rude, nasty and condescending. It doesn't even matter if you have an appointment. The manager, Donovan, does not try to resolve issues. I've had an account with 5-6 lines there for about 15 years and the service used to be good. Not anymore. Go to a different store, or buy online. You'll be sorry if you waste your time here.

I checked time online and got there 1/2 hour before closing. The sign stated closing time 5pm but store was closed when I got there 4:20pm. Wasted my time rushing to get there. Sad there is no consideration.

I recently purchased a new phone - the first day I went, the woman was very rude and unhelpful and overcharged me and lied to me regarding a new add-on to my plan. She did not help with the activation of my phone nor provide any decent costumer service. My phone stopped working the next day, I spent countless hours on the phone with costumer service, and was told to schedule a new appointment to receive a new phone. When I returned, the rude woman said we had to pay a $50 restocking fee and they kept shifting blame on me. They were never nice and continued to blame me for the phone not working properly. I left with a new phone and this phone was also not activated properly. I was told by customer service manager to return to the store to exchange for a different model which would be more compatible with my local cellular service. The second I walked in, all of the employees were standing there staring at us and were degrading and judged us and said we were not allowed to exchange the phone again. I had told them that the manager had sent me here and we had solved the issue over the phone, however, the workers gathered and talked about us right in front of us and continued to blame us for the issue and were degrading and talked to us like we were incompetent - nor were they apologetic or nice at all. In the end, they made the decision to give me another phone of their choice and told me that next time there is an issue, they would not be willing to help. Not once did anyone show any sympathy or understanding towards my week-long frustration. Needless to say, I will never return to this specific store. The two male managers and "Brianna" and the other women were extremely rude and gave dirty looks. I have been a customer for 20+ years and I have never had this bad of an experience. The staff at this store needs basic customer service training - and to learn how to be nice.

I bought my 70 year old mother her first smartphone from Best Buy. They didn't have it in stock so it was shipped to her home. She took it to the Verizon store in Clifton Park on August 16 to have it activated. And that's all they did, they activated it. They didn't insert the new sim card, nor did the male employee set up the phone for my mother. But they did charge her $40. How does this happen, do we not care about our customers? Lesson learned. My husband and I both bought the Samsung s10 and Note 10+ from Best Buy and had them activated and set up there also. The only thing we will ever get from Verizon is our data, we will never ever buy anything again from your stores.

I got new Verizon service on July 1st. Worst mistake I ever made. The salesperson promised me many things for which I won't get into. None of these promises have I seen. I got a bill for 284.63 for 14 days of service! I have made many attempts to resolve these issues. Nothing has been done! Verizon is a joke they steal your money. I cannot even delete my credit card on the website. They have thieved my account. Stay away, go to ATT. The salesperson should be ashamed of himself! Taking advantage of people.

Clifton park store is the worst ever. What is needed is a manager to teach the employees how to treat and assist the the customers. No assistance is given in setting up a phone. They direct you to a website and tell you it is easy . They are lazy and rude . AT& T will be my next stop.

I went to Verizon last week to upgrade my iPhone 7 to an iPhone 10 XS. When i went , the sales rep, Jesse, informed me if i got my cracked screen fixed through my insurance, I'd get a lot more money for my trade-in. He assured me I'd get the amount he told me if i returned, so i got the screen fixed and told Jesse i would see him today after my screen was fixed. Jesse was very helpful, he is not the reason for my low rating experience. I returned today and unfortunately Jesse was out sick, so i worked with a woman named Brie. I had my case, and screen protector all ready to go (i ordered them elsewhere). I told her about the rate i was told i would get for my phone and that Jesse had helped us. As soon as she realized we weren't her "customer" she spoke to us like we were stupid, and she was extremely rude. Every time we asked a question she'd respond like we should know the answer. We were discussing the phone and the cost of our new plan, and she asked us a question (don't remember what it was) and when she returned we told her we were putting down money on the phone. She responded "ok well i asked you this earlier and you said there was nothing i needed to know. I asked you." Ok? Isn't this your job? Her shortness and attitude was incredibly rude, I've never been so angry. When we paid for the phone (an iPhone is A LOT of money. The fact that we spent that much and she was as rude as she was is incredible to me), i asked her to if she could help me set my phone up. Usually the sales rep always does this right away but she didn't even ask. She told me "it's super easy" and i said "i have work right now can you help me to ensure i leave with it all set to go and it's quick" again, she says it's easy. She carried my things to a seat and basically told me to do it. She actually carried my items and set them on a chair. She was already walking away to help someone else. I ended up leaving because i had no time. My phone took hours to set up and it could've taken seconds if she had helped. I don't care if it's easy, i spent 1,000$ on it and she couldn't even help me set this up. I am angry. I will be going back to Verizon to speak to a manager about her. A family member of mine has worked with her before as well and said the same thing. I have never written a yelp review. I made an account just to write about this woman. Her name is Brie and I'll be sure to request anyone but her next time i go. I have also never gone in to speak to a manager about ANYONE ever, I'm not that kind of person. But i am going back in because I'm extremely dissatisfied with her service.

The management if this store is horrendous !!! .. The heavyset woman with dirty blonde hair is totally OBNOXIOUS !!!.. The first time I dealt with her, she berated me for not knowing which phone model I had. Today, we had made an appointment and when we told her, she stated they didn't make appointment s ..I showed her the Text Verizon had sent, confirming the appointment. She said she didn't care !!! That's her attitude about customers !!! TOTALLY ASININE !!!

Salespeople here are extremely pushy - pushed me into getting a phone that I did not want and talked down to me regarding my concerns. The customers wants should be listened to above what the sales person THINKS the customer should get. Very poor service here - avoid.

When I came in for an upgrade the person I had was very rude and just kept trying to upsell me. He tried ringing me out with an 80$ wireless charger and a screen protector that I didn't even ask for. Very aggressive and mean too once he found out I wasn't getting all of the extras. Just order your phone online

Sorry ... wrong disgruntled customer! I was not setting up new service. I was the one that was told Verizon sells phone service, not customer service! I can see where you might get confused. These customer service complaints go back five years! It doesn't sound like much of anything is being done about them. I'm beginning to think the rude clerk was being truthful with me about Verizon. In any case, I'm done!
