“Everything cost $1.25 and a sliver of your soul. I went in for batteries but found enlightenment in the seasonal aisle. Halloween candy sat beside Easter baskets, locked in eternal combat. A woman shouted, “Who took my fake plant?” and the room fell silent, as if we all had.
I bought a spatula that bent like it knew secrets. The cashier wore sunglasses indoors and said, “Don’t look behind the curtain.” There was no curtain. When I left, a plastic flamingo fell off the shelf and landed upright, staring at me. I think it knows my address.

“I've been a customer for years but don't care for the recent upgrades to a $5 & Up section.
The parking isn't as easy as it was at the previous location but the experience itself makes up for it.”

“It's a great store but for the last 6 months, the smoke detectors have been beeping non stop. I feel bad for the employees that have to listen to that annoying sound, let alone customers. Please replace much needed batteries.”

“I love shopping here. Every time I go, I always pick up 5 to 6 bags of twizzler rope's, cause I can't find them anywhere else. And I'm at least 45 minutes away from the closest one to me. But it's worth the drive.”
“It’s fine and what you’d expect from a Dollar General - I read a lot of complaining about them always being short staffed on local social media pages, and I definitely don’t frequent this store, but the once every few months I stop in, I’m able to find what I came in for, and the staff have always been very friendly and working hard.”

“I love this store & the Newark one both so much. I’ve always been treated kind and respectful and tonight I called to ask a question about an upcoming clearance event and I didn’t catch the guys name that I spoke to but he was the sweetest, called me “my dear” lol so sweet. It makes it worth the half hour drive to come to this location and the other one because the one closest to me in Macedon is horrible and I’m always treated terribly at that one but this location is great! Appreciate the guy I spoke to tonight, again I didn’t get his name but whoever he is he’s so sweet and kind which makes it all more worth the drive”

“Depends on which one ya go too. One has a lot more than another. One is cleaner than another. If ya need something, go to DG in Clifton Springs. They are usually stocked, the floor is just blocked a bit. ?”
