What a wonderful surprise to find this quaint little farm packed with things that make you smile. My husband and I went out for a ride for our anniversary and happened to find this little gem, Ruby Hill Farm. We purchased meat, eggs, tomatoes and a small sign. They had so many wonderful items to offer.
The owners were so friendly, as well as the other couple that was also shopping in the store. We all shared stories and had a lovely time.
Afterwards, we visited and fed the goats, baby goats, donkeys, ponies and a duck. It was a highlight in our day to find this immaculately maintained little farm.
Their hospitality was warmly appreciated, we will be back!

Stopped by during a road trip as our family wanted some fruit/veggies as a snack and wanted to support a local farm. I drove in the driveway and made a right looking for the farm stand/front office, but it was just an empty parking lot, so i immediately turned around going back to the main driveway where we saw the owners pull in their truck. They looked at us like we were trespassing and wanted us gone, which was quickly confirmed by them saying angrily “why would you go over there and what do you want?!” I said we weren’t sure where to go, but we were looking to buy some fruit. They just said no — not no sorry we are closed, not no sorry we are all out of fruit, or anything you’d expect a business owner would say to a potential customer, just no and shut down the conversation. Every part of their tone, facial expression and even they way they parked their truck in front of us just conveyed leave the property now!
It seems very strange for a Farm business that makes their money selling produce and allowing guests to explore their property, would not want to sell us fruit and got upset when we were drove around the property. Seems like something unethical maybe going on at this location, so I would caution anyone who planning to visit or buy meat/produce from Ruby Hill Farm.
- Edit 8/19/2025 Response to the Owner below: Why not just say sorry we are closed? We would have totally understood that.

A gem! Happened on this place while driving by. I actually passed it, then something told me to turn around and go back. What a fantastic little farm store! I got amazing peaches, blueberries, plums, tomatoes and ice cream. The owner was so friendly and we had a really nice conversation. She recommended some other things to do in the area as well. I can’t wait to go back for eggs and to try other things.

Charming little farm run by a lovely lady farmer named Diana. My kids loved feeding and petting the animals. Beautiful landscaping and farm stand.

Great family run farm, products are local and delicious, great for locals or weekenders looking for something to make for dinner without going to the grocery store, feeding the animals is always fun as well.

Stopped by the farm on a whim when we were in the area and all seemed quiet. Shortly after we got there the owner Rich showed up, opened up the store and spent a great deal of time chatting with us telling us about the farm and about his products. I bought lots of meats- always happy to support local! I just got home to my town and cooked the jalapeño sausages and they were out of this world! It was so nice to be able to support a local farm, especially one with a farmer, so engaging and attentive to his animals as well as the products they sell. We will definitely go back!!

The best local farm around. We are picky about where we get our meats and eggs from but Ruby Hill delivers the best eggs you can find and upholds the same high standards for all their meats. Check it out if you are in the area.
