I would tell you that this is the best liquor store between Callicoon and NYC. And it is.
But I think it’s also the best liquor store I have ever been to. Period.
If you are looking for a particular bottom- to mid-shelf spirit, you may not find it. But the selection of hard to find spirits at a relatively low mark up is mind boggling.
If you are interested in spirits, it’s worth a detour. Nuff said.

Pasted this place turned around to stop and and it was well worth it. Lots of local spirits but also some hard to find bourbons. The owner was such a great guy. If I'm up that way I'll stop in again for sure!

HIGHLY RECCOMEND. The owners are extremely friendly and easy to socialize with. I love the design choice of the building's exterior. Opening this establishment added to the town of cochecton. It was very much needed. Aswell as smart to add an additional establishment where there wasnt much besides traffic. Their selection is not just higher class stuff but very affordable. Many friends agree that the store is just what the town needed and appreciate the convenience. But the quality and pricing is actually amazing. Ive heard they sell things that are just as good or better than higher end stuff, yet incredibly affordable. My friends and I all appreciate this establishment. ❤️kudos to the owners and thank you.
