Ontario Street CVS loyal customer for 15 years. Asked a simple question and was treated so rudely by the pharmacy. And then I asked to talk to a manager or for the emplyees name. She said and I quote I don't have to give that to you and literally hung up on me". I tried to call back, but they literally started it screening my number at the pharmacy . WORST EXPERIENCE EVER WITH A PHARMACY!!! Read more reviews. Mostly one star on yelp. Me, my wife, mother and 2 other recruits LEAVING FOR ANOTHER PHARMACY!! please join in, show them u cant treat people horribly and get away w it!! MISION TO CIVILIZE

There isn't a rating low enough. I've been a customer of theirs for 24+ yrs and last few yrs they've insulated that commitment and more. Going to move on from there horrible service in the next few days happily. You're pathetic cvs in cohoes and I am looking forward to cvs going out of business soon.

I transferred my this local CVS store (485 Columbia St., Cohoes, NY 12047) because I moved here. I asked my doctor sent my description to the store too. I got message to ask me if I want to refill and I replied Yes. A few days later, I received message that said the refill is ready to pick up. I went to the store and I was told there was nothing for me. I was told it was probably refilled at my previous pharmacy(CVS at different location). A few days lates, I got message again that said my medicine is ready CVS at 485 Columbia St., Cohoes, NY 12047. I went there again and I was told there was nothing. The persons are very inpatients and even rude. I asked them remove my name on their system and I would change my pharmacy. I got automatic phone call and said my medicine is ready at 485 Columbia St., Cohoes, NY 12047. I called back to confirm if it is true or not. The person was, again, very inpatient. I asked to talk to her manager. After some wait, the manager talked me with very emotional bad attitude. She hanged out me before I finish my questions.

Absolutely disgusting behavior by the pharmacist. Was told that the medication refilled on 1/27 couldnt be refilled until the 30th day. then ARGUED with me because THERE ARE 31 DAYS IN JANUARY so 2/27 is the 31ST DAY. So my son has to wait an additional day for his MENTAL HEALTH MEDICATION that has to be taken at the same time every day, because their 12 year old idiot that they hire to answer the phone in the pharmacy CANT READ A CALENDAR.

No issues with the pharmacy. However, everything, and I mean everything, that I have purchased there otherwise ends up being expired. Need a covid test? Yeah, theirs are expired. Soup? Expired? Popcorn? Expired. Cookies? Expired.

Do I come here for the occasional general-store need? Yes.Does this location have self-check out? Yes!! (Big win over the local Walgreens which is much nicer inside though).Is the interior or parking lot nice? Not particularly.Does it usually take me 20 minutes to either find or not find what I’m looking for and thought would take 20 seconds? Yes!Have I gotten the flu shot and COVID vaccines here without issue? Yes!

Unwilling to be helpful or transfer a prescription from another CVS to their store. Rude on the phone. I recommend Walgreens.

AVOID THIS PHARMACY!! You could call a year in advance and they still won’t have it ready. The head pharmacist is rude and honestly I will never use this CVS ever again.

Worse CVS pharmacy I have been too!Waiting on the drive thru for 10 minutes and keep been told "someone would be with you in a minute" keep getting interrupted by the person telling me this. Came inside 4 people inside the pharmacy and only one person taking care of the register. Pharmacist are rude as hell.

we used to go here all the time, but a couple years ago their head pharmacist went to a different branch and the place went to hell. at the moment, the drugstore we use now was out of the antibiotic i was prescribed on saturday. it'll be in on 'the next business day' which means tuesday--i hope. so i called this cvs and asked if they could fill it and i was told i'd have to get the doctor to call in another presciption. so i did (jump thru the hoop fido, good boy). my husband and daughter went to pick it up and guess what? the other store has to take the 'hold' off it before they'll fill it!!!!! SO, why did i bother to call the urgent care who gave the original script, only to find out the store that is closed for the holiday has to be part of this!!!!! DON"T GO HERE!!!!!!!!!! waste of time w/ staff who are woefully ignorant, LOVE to tell you NO and expect you should just meekly walk away. well FU@#%K YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a physician practicing in USA for last more that 30 years. This is my first time complaining against the service of any pharmacy.Whenever I leave a message for the pharmacist at this CVS location, requesting some medicine for my patient and later patient checks with pharmacy, he gets reply that doctor has not left any message!This has been happening again and again.Called today to give this feedback to the pharmacist and was told that as they have only one pharmacist they can not do any better!!

I always love going to cvs, I always find what I need, and usually, actually most of the time I find so much more than I intended to go for.. lol ? But that's not a bad thing for cvs.
